So I won this and have been rocking a Samsung phone from 2010 that slides and I just talk and text right?

I'm not up on new newfangled phones, tablets, mini computers etc etc

I'm old school and prefer desktops, I had a tower that died so now I share my wife's laptop which is hooked to the TV with a wireless keyboard and I internet on the couch, watch shows etc

I can't plug this galaxy android into my monitor and etc upstairs to operate as a desktop...

I guess I can take it with me places if I wanted to use wifi

    hmmmm

Anyone got any ideas what I should do with this?

Most of your apps and accounts that you have on your phone should work on your Tablet since they are Both Samsung , if anything you just got a bigger smart phone without the cell service . I just use mine for viewing videos or instruction in some of my classes.

I got this phone, in red, in October 2010 as my first ever phone.

    Had it ever since.

With Koodoo and no contracts. Just pay an additional $5 a month until the phone is paid off. Well I officially own that phone as of early 2015.

What was gangster was my very very first phone

We found it in a box among a bunch of other shit from my dead Uncle and I took it, and used pay as you go on it

    Pay as you fucking go

Then I upgraded in 2010 and now I won this very modern thing that's way ahead of me :p

Make it your living room remote. I have a tablet just for this. I also use it to monitor the 12 cameras around the house. I control the garage door, entrance door, house alarms, surround sound, thermostat, fridge, oven, wifi video calling, ps4 xbx1 everything from it. It's fn 2016 for fucking sake. Everything is controlled electronically.

Such a thing is possible? My remote battery cover broke off so I've been walking up to the tv to turn it on and change volume.
