I want to share with you the magic of virtua fighter anime!

a trip back in time.
I enjoyed this and street fighter 2v a bunch as a kid. I had a much of these on vhs

Should rename to Virtue Fighters to fit in current social climate

Damn I had no idea they made this. I'm a major Sega lover so will be checking this out.

I've been fascinated by Willie Williams, he was a big 6'7" Karateka that got famous in Japan for fighting a bear. They brought him in to do a pro wrestling match against Antonio Inoki then he became a regular wrestler in the Rings promotion in 1992-93, they were "Shoot Style" wrestling which was basically like proto-MMA(Rings itself in this era to me felt like a prequel to Pride).

All of his matches were bat shit crazy(compared to other matches of that style of wrestling from that era) and would get the crowds white hot. He was like a shoot style wrestling version of Bruiser Brody.

I hope him or his family somehow got paid by Sega for Virtua Fighter because the Jeffrey Mcwild character is pretty blatantly based on his likeness.
