They only place that I hear bareknuckle fights still exist would be in gypsy camps. That can be an old myth in itself these days aswell, however, even if its not, its a real risky venture to take. A fellow BJJ guy at my club was telling me about he had a friend who he knew & they watched some fights. He said, he could of beaten the likes of the people he saw, but he said you don't know who your fucking with. From the gypsy fighters mate, to the guy that put a bet on the gypsy to win, if you do the inevitable & cleanly win, you won't walk out with your money or your body unharmed.
IMO, your dream is understandable, but for me, a bit too twisted. No disrespect my friend, just I would rather save beating my bare fists into the faces of people I hate, I couldn't use that type of violence in a competitive way. For me, the bareknuckle side of fighting becomes violence as oppose to MMA, where the gloves & safety make it competition. My views are quite woman like & old fashioned, but I think if you really wanna do this, you better be damn tough & careful.
