I understand many of you hate Conor, but to say cardio has nothing to do with the lose?

Again with this shit? He didn't gain any muscle for UFC 196. He was just planning on cutting less weight for the fight.

Not that it matters because he should have had much better cardio than a guy who literally came of the sofa to fight him without a camp.

So a man preparing to fight RDA is going to have cardio issues? No one is going to go thru camp preparing for RDA and not make sure his cardio is legit. Deal. With. The. Loss.

Nothing really to be seen. A power punch fighter that's never shown us that he can make it to the 3rd round. Why would we believe he had the cardio to go a full 5. We can say he has power because he's proven it, we can say his cardio is questionable (people have way before this fight) because he hasn't proven it.

Conor was throwing everything into those shots and burned himself out. Along with eating knees to the bread basket and getting wobbled by jabs the outcome was inevitable. He was hitting Nate with some great shots in the first but that was it.

thats what I said in the older thread everyone said cardio has nothing to do.

Even if Conor can go 5 rounds, he needs to win be point fighting, because Diaz always gonna have the better chin and the better cardio.

And let's be honest, Conor would never do this for this fight. He was cocky, just by trying to KO Diaz in the first. Maybe in a rematch. He said that he now knows that a bigger fighter can take his shots better.

I don't think cardio has anything to do with the loss. ANYBODY would get tired if they put 100% into every punch and swung for the knockout with every shot. There's a reason guys like Dan Henderson and Johnny Hendricks don't spam power shots, especially against highly ranked opponents that know how to roll with punches or dodge/deflect.

Conor fought a very dumb fight and should probably start training with a top camp. He learned a lesson about energy conservation the hard way.

Your last thread fell flat on its face so you retort with this ?.

last thread was created in the base everyone recognice cardio had a lot to do with Conor lose. But everyone said in that thread cardio has nothing to do so...

I need to create this one to people realize cardio has a lot do with the lose. Not an excuse or to diminish the win/lose, its just a fact.

He thought he was sprinting a 400, but Diaz chin made it a two mile, and Conor was too arrogant or unable to adjust. Just like Ronda gassing.

10 Day Diaz.

Fucking shameful, that broke ass TS is going to use a cardio excuse against a guy with 10 day notice and 0 training. Pathetic and shameful just like Mcgregor using the "heavier man" excuse. How bout using the better man excuse?

Conor gassed, was his fault, he fought stupid, throwing everything he got. Probably didnt develop his featherweight cardio enough to match his muscle gains (he was a 145 and was gettin up a division).

He fought 3 rounds before against Holloway, being active and agressive, landing as much as against Nate and did not get close to gas. So, we already know his cardio was good enough.

But we ALL need to agree, Conor was gassed long before Nate landing anything clearly (and I am a Diaz bro fans since the beginning).

Cardio is just like power, speed, accuracy. Defeat your opponent via better cardio is just as valid, meaningul and notorious, that defeating because you are more powerful, or faster or accurate. I am not trying to diminish Nate win on any way.

But its clear to me that, when Conor had the cardio against Nate, he dodge most of his punches, landed clearly, and clearly OUTSTRIKED Nate in the feet all the round. At the beginning he struggled to find the range, but then, he showed was the most skilled striker.

When Conor gassed get flat footed, no more head movement, no more dodge or parry punches, and THEN, and JUST THEN he was tagged clearly and demolished.

Defeat your opponent making him gas is as great as defeating by power, speed, accuracy or anything else.

Muhammad Ali did it against Foreman and is one of the most notable wins in history.

HOW CAN YOU SAY CARDIO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CONOR LOSS ? THATS NONSENSE.

Nate Diaz won against Conor because making him gas. Thats not shameful and to me is great, just like win because your power, speed or accuracy. Nothing to be ashamed.

But why here people still saying cardio has nothing to do with the win? that's moronic ! Conor was a completely different fighter gassed/not gassed. Was clear. What is the need to denied something so obvious and evident?
You are right but it's also crazy how Nate had better conditioning. It is a factor I would love to see them fight both on full camps at 155.

Are you retarded, the first round was like 30-25 McGregor.

Nate gassed McGregor.

So now is there a Mcgregor fan consensus on the Mendes fight? On how Chad won the first rnd but gassed in the second or not?Chad(and Nate) took fights on short notice while Conor had a full camp each time.

Mendes has a legit excuse for gassing, Mcgregor does not.

he was bulking and adquiring a lot of muscle mass to going up a division

muscle gains are faster than cardio gains, you need to match your featherweight cardio with your lightweight or welterweight muscle who drains a lof of oxigen

So you're a Diaz fan who is upset about the backlash Conor is getting? Conor was training for a world title fight... Nate was the one who stepped up on short notice. There were plenty of other opponents lined up but Conor chose Nate thinking it would likely be the easiest of the options he had available, he was wrong. Why the revisionist hisory?

he looked tired in the 2nd because he was taking damage. it's been said a million times, you look tired when you're getting hit. conor did not gas.

LOL shut up with that nonsense. No one believes that crap who has an inkling about the sport.

Hows he win? Honestly curious since IMO diaz has never been finished or KOed. Cuts?

I love the pathetic excuses, it just validated everything we've said about Mcgregor and his fanboys. I love you, my bitches!

If you don't have better than one round at full speed you're a beta.
