I understand many of you hate Conor, but to say cardio has nothing to do with the lose?

Conor gassed, was his fault, he fought stupid, throwing everything he got. Probably didnt develop his featherweight cardio enough to match his muscle gains (he was a 145 and was gettin up a division).

He fought 3 rounds before against Holloway, being active and agressive, landing as much as against Nate and did not get close to gas. So, we already know his cardio was good enough.

But we ALL need to agree, Conor was gassed long before Nate landing anything clearly (and I am a Diaz bro fans since the beginning).

Cardio is just like power, speed, accuracy. Defeat your opponent via better cardio is just as valid, meaningul and notorious, that defeating because you are more powerful, or faster or accurate. I am not trying to diminish Nate win on any way.

But its clear to me that, when Conor had the cardio against Nate, he dodge most of his punches, landed clearly, and clearly OUTSTRIKED Nate in the feet all the round. At the beginning he struggled to find the range, but then, he showed was the most skilled striker.

When Conor gassed get flat footed, no more head movement, no more dodge or parry punches, and THEN, and JUST THEN he was tagged clearly and demolished.

Defeat your opponent making him gas is as great as defeating by power, speed, accuracy or anything else.

Muhammad Ali did it against Foreman and is one of the most notable wins in history.

HOW CAN YOU SAY CARDIO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CONOR LOSS ? THATS NONSENSE.

Nate Diaz won against Conor because making him gas. Thats not shameful and to me is great, just like win because your power, speed or accuracy. Nothing to be ashamed.

But why here people still saying cardio has nothing to do with the win? that's moronic ! Conor was a completely different fighter gassed/not gassed. Was clear. What is the need to denied something so obvious and evident?

Didn't you just make this thread?

But Mcgregor said Nate blocking his shots were the reason he started to get tired. Its not that he wasn't properly prepared, it was Nate who was making him tired. Constant pressure, blocking/eating Mcgregors shots, hitting Mcgregor in the face. Must have been really demotivating to 100% believe that no one can take your best shot and then have a guy take it and still be coming forward.

Literally no one is saying cardio had nothing to do with it.

Ok, so your hero gasses in one round. Thanks for setting the record straight.

The only way to beat a Diaz is fighting smart. You can be Conor, RDA or Lawler. No matter what, he will eat your punches and his gas is way superior. So to Conor beat Nate he will have to be humble and fight with his hands up. Also he should try to use the speed advantage and try to hit and not get hit.

So yes TS it had a lot to do with that but Conor can't do what he did in round 1 for 5 rounds.

its shameful by Conor, he was really stupid and believed his own hype. You cant just put 145 -> 170lbs and just beat a bigger fighter, he was demolished because was stupid.

But a lot of people is saying cardio has nothing to do. Stop that.

Of course cardio had a lot to do with it. Just like Mendes was destroying Conor until he gassed. Cardio giveth and cardio taketh away.

Lol he has a full camp, no weight camp, and now it's because "But he gassed".

But Mendes has 2 weeks to cut weight with barely any training, and "it doesn't matter!"

are you kiddin? everyone is saying cardio has nothing to do.

Made a thread like 10 minutes ago saying this, and everyone said cardio has nothing to do.

that was clear too. I have no problem admiting that, cardio is a big part of fighting game, not diminish the win or the loses to me.

He gassed because he was throwing everything but the kitchen sink and was getting cracked. Cardio is no excuse in his case

Mendes gassed clear. I never denied that, and in this fight Conor gassed clear.

When he had an 8 week camp, and then insisted on fighting at 170lbs when Nate asked for 165 is exactly when the "he had poor cardio" excuse is no longer on the table. Nobody told him to eat himself to 168lbs. He didn't need to weigh in higher than 157lbs for that fight.

Conor did get tired, but was it poor cardio, or was it the fact that Diaz didn't wilt after getting nailed with Conor's best shots, or both? It's more likely that Conor is a front runner who checks out mentally when his opponent doesn't just fall down when touched by the dim-mak.

Coincidentally this is the first time we've seen Conor fight someone who didn't just rush in, or fight scared. The first time we see someone go to war with Conor is the first time he loses in the UFC. Coincidence? I think not.

Your last thread fell flat on its face so you retort with this ?.

I dont think fight goes any other way. Diaz just has his number. Happens.

Diaz cant be Koed and Conor is a KO artist

Lets look at Diaz loses
Do you think Conor can run away all fight like Thompson and out point him?
Do you think COnor can Wrestle fuck and leg hump diaz like so many wrestlers have?
Do you think Conor can leg chop him and GnP like RDA?

Conor fought dumb. He abandoned the kicks to the body that he usually uses to tire a fighter and to set up his hands. He fell in love with the power shot. He rushed it and Diaz didn't fold.

thats what I said in the older thread everyone said cardio has nothing to do.

Even if Conor can go 5 rounds, he needs to win be point fighting, because Diaz always gonna have the better chin and the better cardio.

This troll topic really needed multiple tl;dr threads.
