I'll start this off with a little bit of info about myself. I've been lifting on and off since I was 19 years old, ran SS with some success but fell off due to work, school, relationships etc. Generally i'd reach sticking points and give up, returning to the gym months later. Anyhow my life has stabilized to the point where i've been able to lift regularly without little interruption for the better part of a year. This summer, against the advice of the entire internet strength and conditioning community I switched over to 531 with less than stellar numbers and had a bad experience(as I should have known) Knowing I wasn't doing myself any good I switched back to a weekly LP, performed a major deload, and revamped my form in some places.
