I think we're all just flabbergasted with Shavkat's performance now

I know people don't like Gary but he's not an easy opponent to look good against because he's very light on his feet and very good at throwing what I call " get away from me strikes ".

Belal is a completely different opponent and I'm not saying he'll be easy but Shavkat won't have to worry about finding Belal. Belal is going to be right infront of Shavkat

shavkat did absolutely nothing it makes no sense.

Yeah shavkat vs khamzat debate should be over too, shavkat is significantly less impressive
Probably so, though Khamzat's cardio at 170 would always be in question, even more than at 185. If Shav, Belal, Garry, Usman, etc. could weather his storm for 3 rounds, would he have anything left for the championship rounds? He didn't exactly destroy Burns at WW.

I think it’s just that Garry is that good. He came to win tonight, and fell a hair short. Great fight!
Did he? He looked almost entirely concerned with defense and didn't really offer any offense at all. His only real offense was more a big mistake from Shavkat trying to jump on his back when he was leaned over and fell off and gave up his own for 1 minute. Other than that, Garry landed 42 strikes, and 21 of them were those shin teeps/oblique kicks, and another 7 were smaller clinch shots.

FFS, Garry was down 3-1 and held onto a body triangle from guard for like 2 minutes after he got reversed instead of trying to get up and look for a finish.

Un-defeated Dude "A" beat Un-defeated Dude "B" and sherdog is pissing and moaning that undefeated Dude "A" sucks ass now...... Because as I suspected..... he didn't get a clear cut finish.

Never change Sherdog... Never Change...

garry isn't surviving chimaev in round 1 if whittaker with 2 training camps specifically tailored for khamzat's style got taken down in the first 10 seconds and put in a neck crank. Belal could maybe survive but Leon was taking his back so I think khamzat just outgrapples him even if tired. Burns was a BJJ nightmare for chimaev and forced him to strike so I think it's just a bad matchup

Consider this Shavkats Gilbert Burns fight. But you guys are all about what happened five minutes ago, so no one will remember Khamzat getting face planted and going life and death vs a natural lightweight.
natural LW dropped p4p #1 Usman lol, he's not a natural LW, he was dying to make weight at 155. Also gilbert is a tough style matchup due to ADCC championship level bjj, garry is just a lanky point fighter yet he still gave shavkat a tough fight, it's not the same since garry stylistically shouldn't even be that hard of a fight

Usman was a bad matchup for Burns imo. I was surprised Burns hurt him but he didn't last long

Garry just might be pretty good after all despite the shit he gets here.
Neither one look like they have anything for Belal though.
