I think something was wrong with Johnny Walker

Before he lost to Corey Anderson, he looked very impressive and looked like he could potentially be on his way to a title.

People will say I'm drinking the koolaid still, but I felt (not anymore of course) that he seriously could of made a run for the title. The lack of mental maturity such as showboating has costed him his career. Joking around too much and playing there will end up costing him.

Michel Pereira pulls that same bullshit, and I see it ending bad for him one day which is sad because he's such a talented fighter, but rather do stupid flips inside the octagon vs winning in decisive fashion and building in the ranks.

I mentioned this as we were wathcing it live - As he was doing his walkout, it looked like he almost stumbled, or his knees locked up....And then we get one of the weirdest K.O's I have ever seen. The way he fell was just strange.

Edit: yes, I wish I had a clip of the walkout stumble, but I do not.
But @KazDibiase did -

Watch his legs at 0.23 and just focus on the legs.

It's entirely because of how he is. He has a history of acting like that while being hurt. When you look at his style of fighting, it's all about explosive wacky moves, which becomes a tactic when he gets hurt.

Walker's issue is that he takes his haphazzard behaviour for granted because of his uncontrollable physicality, but with no clear strategy he ends up on the receiving end by people who know what they look for.

I thought his footwork was terrible in the fight. He kept crossing his feet. Maybe something was up

He rocked himself with those slaps. I am sure I am late to the party thpugh.

Just checked Trinaldo vs Herbert again, and you are right. The way the legs lock up is almost the same.

Yeah legs always look like this if they get clipped standing up right because the signal to the legs go out and sometimes it makes the legs lock up while they drop. There's a lot more of these type of knockouts in boxing. The legs always lock up similar to these KOs.
