nah. khabib is his toughest match up. khabib is a better wrestler/grappler/striker. why do people assume that any wrestler beats khabib. khabib is a wrestler and it goes both way.
yes. my point is that just like any decent wrestler would on paper present problems for khabib, khabib presents problems for them regardless of the size. Gregor has a similar game plan to khabib, which is takedown and smash until they give a neck or a limb or get a tko/decision win. you think someone with the same game plan as khabib wouldnt have problems imposing that game plan ON khabib regardless of size? taking khabib down, controlling him down and outgrappling him is 20 times harder than doing it to Yancy.
gaethje is mainly a striker now so i wouldnt count on him. as for the rest it goes both ways like you said. someone like kevin lee/gregor has also never faced a wrestler like khabib.
gsp is almost 38 and if the fight happens he would be like 39 with only a single fight in like 7 years. i would recommend you putting your money on khabib. he would finish current day gsp inside 4.
90% of mma fighters are strikers that shoot for takedowns when theyre tagged. barboza was taken down for like 3-5 years before the khabib fight. it means nothing if strikers cant take him down.
Khabib is very one dimensional compared to GSP. Plus what Khabib does best, GSP does better. I wouldn't give Khabib much of a chance.
