I think gregor gillespie will beat khabib

stylistically he is his toughest match up in that division for sure but he is really small compared to Khabib and I feel like he would get outmuscled

man I follow him, believe me.. this man is an animal the way he trains, I will put my money on gregor
 
It looks like they're not rushing Gillespie into it. He has KO power, though, and the best pure wrestling pedigree in the lightweight division at the moment.

He's not getting any younger, though. They'll probably give him a big name fight after his upcoming fight, should he win.
 
Gillespie isn't even close to a title shot. The odds of them ever fighting are pretty much zero.

actually when wrestling the smaller guy has an advantage of taking you down because their level is already lowered enough so they can shoot on you easier because youre bigger and the bigger you are the harder you fall. the taller guy has to get in his wrestling stance and change levels to the short guys size but the short guy could evade by stuffing the takedown or by last resourt sprawling
 
why doesnt he make the push the get into contention? its been years and he's won almost all his fights with finishes. Im ready to see him headline cards.

That's not how this works. They have weight classes in wrestling too and for a good reason.
 
Al and Gaethje would dismantle him before he even gets to Khabib
 
He is the dark horse at 155 for sure. Just waiting on the UFC to finally give him a top guy.
 
He didn’t look too great in his last fight. Exposed him a bit in my opinion.

Gregor May beat him but it’s way to early to say
 
Gregor would be a midsized 145er. Khabib would be a midsized 170er. They are quite different in size. I think Gregor has more talent, though.
 
Khabib is never losing to a Gregor, or a McGregor.

He has clean boxing knockouts, dramatic ground and pound, insane takedowns, and can smother. He’s shown bits of everything in every fight and has definitely not been exposed in the slightest
 
Khabib has probably 1 more fight. The weight cut is fuckin brutal and he wont move up. He rides off into the sunset after his next fight.
 
Think Khabib will be retired by the time he works his way (if he does) to a title shot
