I notice I lift my pinky when I take drinks and I seem to have no control over it.

Every time I take a high drink, to really suck back my beverage, I have my thumb and four fingers on it but as I tip up my pinky finger extends ... every time. I get called out on it often and people say it's feminine. Not sure how to correct this. It's hard cause I'm focused on drinkign and my little finger pops up every time. I suppose I could tape my smallest fingers together and play it off as a Penn Gillette distraction technique.

Do your fingers do anything when you drink and how do you feel about extended pinky finger drinking?

Oh and is it non-manly to call it a pinky finger? You got the thumb, index or pointy finger, the middle finger, or flip the bird finger, the ring finger ... I guess I should have called it the little finger

I shouldn't say I have no control over it, it just feels right to lift it up when I drink, I don't even think about me doing it. It just lifts up
