It's kind of homely from first glance, especially because there are no Spectacular Match Ups --

But

The Champion Fights are legit Contenders going up against legit Champs, and that's my fault if I don't like that.

Belal and Val did their part to ascend to the summit of their Divisions and Conquer!

Past Champs Aldo and Grasso are interesting fights -- and yes, that has some entertainment value to go along with the sporting purpose of the Event.

BSD is also interesting to see if he can put together a run up the Lightweight mountain, from his recent setbacks. He offered up a great fight with Poirier and went down in a bang-out war, so he gets my respect.

Plenty of Canadians to check the box for the Northern Mullet tribesman to enjoy AND a smattering of familiar names to fill out the Card.

This is exactly how big Rosters work -- they aren't gonna fight in secret -- they have to run through these matchups to keep the Roster Active.

I mean, it's a good card; but you have to actually like MMA.
For anyone that isn't really a fan of the sport, it's meh.
Correction. You have to like *WMMA. When 2 of the 5 fights are WMMA.

The BSD fight is a squash match not a fight, just look at the odds.

Belal vs JDM is a better fight than most give it credit for due to Belal getting treated like the Nickelback of MMA.

The Aldo fight is a good fight on paper for a 38 year old vs a 37 year old, but his opponent hasn't really been marketed and at his age can't really become a title contender.

So if you don't enjoy WMMA it's hard to like, especially for $90

Keep BSD vs Alvarez plus don't move the Burns fight off this card and it's a lot more appealing than the final product.

Belal vs. JDM is good but one of the least interesting non-rematch male title fights.

Val vs. Fiorot is highly likely to be a snoozefest and while it’s ok, I never feel very hyped for WMMA.

Aldo vs. Zahabi is meh. I am a big Aldo fan but a very uninteresting opponent.

Grasso vs. Silva doesn’t interest me.

BSD vs. Prepolec doesn’t interest me.

All in all, I’m not very hyped at all. And on paper, high potential for a really boring card.

You make a lot of good points, I'm warming up to the card now. I am always excited to see Aldo fight, I don't care if he ain't in his prime, its still always a blessing to see Aldo, and I don't know how many more times we will see him fight, Legend!.

Yeah Aldo is a major win for any card.

I'm also interested in seeing if Jasudavicius can climb into title contention by beating Andrade.

Bukauskas vs. Cuțelaba is a fun light heavyweight prelim as well.

There are still reasonable people on this site.

I will argue it's not the most exciting for a paid card but agree decent title fights that now have even more interesting implications.

 a positive thread here, kill him!

On topic though with BSD/Alvarez and Burns/Morales this would of been a 7/10 card, losing the Burns fight and demoting the BSD fight to a squash match bumps it down a couple notches unfortunately.

Aside from Aldo and Jack it's a pretty bad card. Like others said, for around 20 bucks it would be fine.

I like 315 too

<Neil01>

I never pay for ppvs though. UFC makes fuck loads of money every year and they still don't raise fighter pay. I'm not lining the executives pockets.

its mid. This was never gonna be one of the top 4 shows but if it had Shavkat in main event, BSD/Alvarez didnt fall off and they didnt pull Morales/Burns to headline a fight night then it would have been a much better show.
