Seriously though guys I don’t know if y’all saw my other thread from last weekend where my whole AC Unit in my house went out and I had to scramble for a week and just suffer in the heat well the 3rd or 4th day into that I wake up one morning and my parents are just distraught and hot as hell and say “Guess what the Female Emu ran away” so our ac unit breaks I’m broke and our thousand dollar bird runs away right after reaching sexual maturity to where we can sell her eggs. My Dad was so sad it was just horrible. Thank god we found her. If I didn’t make that post, I wouldn’t have gotten help buying a new window unit but while all that was happening the Emu ran away. It just seemed like everything was going to hell for a few days. Thankfully everything is back to more or less normal now. I still can’t believe we found her luckily she got stuck in a cattle pasture and these people were feeding her and taking their kids to see her on their gold kart

My first thought was... why do you have an emu???

My second thought was... why don't I have an emu? I could build a harness to let my 3 year old granddaughter race it like a desert tauntaun. Or... how strong are they? How are their eggs? I imagine it must be closer to an ostrich's size.
