Looks like he and Bas were both betrayed by USA Pride executives.

WTF were they thinking replacing Quadros with Perry.

Quadros and Bas were epic together.

Mauro saved the situation and then Pride f*cked it up again by betraying Bas by throwing in Trigg behind his back and Bas left. That guy with Trigg was clueless.

How did you Americans go trough these changes?

I'd be pretty damn pissed off:)

Seriously? Posting an article from 03 and trying to ask people about what they thought back then? That's like seeing the movie Heat for the first time in 2015 and wanting to talk about it.

I'm watching my Pride stuff.

Leave now and let Pride fans enter:)

They won't enter, they're busy in the hundreds of fedor threads cropping up the past two days.

Considering Damon Perry joined the team during perhaps the greatest PRIDE cards ever, it really didn't make a difference who was commentating.

I really don't think Mauro was all that much better but his excitement was all that really mattered.

"KEVIN RANDLEMAN HAS KNOCKED OUT MIRKO CRO-COP!!!!! (Repeat a million times)"

So you think history isn't worth talking about?

I feel sorry for your ancestors then.

I liked Mauro a lot, but Perry was just weird.

Quadros and Bas and Bas and Mauro were equally good to me. Different but both great.

Pride execs were simply ahead of times when they appointed Damon 'The Doge' Perry as commentator, exactly 10 years before he became a smash hit meme.

Were there requests for his return here?

I didn't find any threads on the matter.

Just saw 'Heat' I take it?
