I Hope that PFL takes off

With rumors of Bellator being on the market, I hope that the investors behind PFL buy it and merge the rosters. Or, Bellator goes ass over teakettle and PFL snaps up its fighters.Higher pay will attract more fighters from the regional circuit.

I am well aware that the UFC has a dominant share of the market but PFL doesn't nesscarily need to overtake it. It can be a solid second place in a way that Bellator never was.

More competition is better for the UFC at the end of the day because it would be forced to step it's game up. Monopolies are a breeding ground for inefficient business practices.

I have it on good authority that in fact, PFL is eating the UFC

but seriously it could happen years down the road, PFL and/or Bellator at least rivaling the UFC. every now and then in business the top dog is unseated by some upstart

I think they can start to rival the UFC if they buy Bellator. I would like to see an organization that will co promote without the strict steroid testing. We can have those larger than life fighters compete again. I believe it is pre USADA commission style testing?

Jake Paul joining PFL sort of has that Elite XC or Affliction vibe for me. I hope it takes off and don't come crashing down.

I really hope this happens too. UFC is long overdue for some healthy competition. Serves to create a better product (fights) from every promotion.

I like how you pointed out the PFL doesn't necessarily need to overtake the UFC to make an impact, too. PFL will likely never overtake the UFC, but they can certainly light a fire under the UFC's ass so we don't get cards full of loudmouth mid-tier fighters.

If it improves the quality of their cards, then I'm all for PFL growing, however there's a lot of moving parts in what you just said. It's not as simple as a lot of you think and make it seem.

So many don't seem to make the distinction between what America was intended to operated by, (free market capitalism/small government) and what it is in its current form of, crony capitalism. I don't mean to preach, but I cant help myself. Educate the masses!
