This is number 1 bullshit!

This is supposed to be one of those diseases that you only get once in your life.

Why the fuck do I have to be the one to defy the odds and enjoy this very painful condition again?

Do you have HIV or something? Or work a bunch of different shifts times? Do you eat vegetables?

I've had it once, in 2019. I believe it was due to not eating well and being sleep deprived, though I've been more sleep deprived other times. Interesting experience, to see how it works and what people consider painful. My arm's skin had a weird feeling the day before the rash, like tingling or burning (forgot). I didn't take painkillers usually, even weak ones like tylenol, because I liked to adapt and be more ready for pains of the future, but I needed the codeine to be able to put my shingled head on the pillow and sleep. Glad I got it where it's not so visible, as I scar easily. I had psoriasis in the same area for a few years later, which is a common aftereffect, for unknown reasons.

I had shingles like 6 years ago on my stomach; worst pain I've ever felt.
