100% lol things changed when I went from a young broke adult to a successful one.Ironically, it's pretty common a young leftist turns into a conservative when they get older (and have to pay his own bills and taxes) more often than not.
Thread fail and backfired.

In a lot of threads here, there are so many dudes who love saying, "back in my day", or "when I was younger", or "a long time ago we used to..."
Uh guess what, WE'RE NOT IN YOUR FUCKING DAY ANYMORE. The older you get, the more you're supposed to change and adapt and evolve and progress. So many of you seem to almost brag about being ignorant and having the same views as you did when you were younger. That's not honorable, that's legit sad as fuck. It explains why this country is fucked.
Things are supposed to go forward, and change, and move on, not stay the same or fucking regress like Trump wants. "Make America Great AGAIN," so when everyone was racist and ignorant, and women "knew their place"? LOL, no.
People turn more conservative as they grow older, particularly in the stages of 25 and 28 when the brain is fully developed.
Women also tend to move more conservative once they become mothers, and actually have a responsibility and something to protect.
The notion that aging beyond adolescence and young adulthood leads to conservatism is part of the conventional wisdom, and there are theoretical reasons to believe that certain dimensions of biological, social and psychological aging contribute to some kinds of conservatism. For instance, with the assumption of family responsibilities, a diffuse liberalism-humanitarianism is likely to be overshadowed by concern for specific others. Or, aging persons may become more conservative in the sense that their attitudes and values become more resistant to change, because each subsequent experience is a smaller proportion of the total background of experiences. Empirical evidence on the topic is not definitive; moreover, in view of intransigent methodological problems which plague the study of aging effects, the evidence may never be definitive. However, cohort analysis of United States survey sample data reveals that in recent years persons aging beyond young adulthood and beyond middle age have tended to become more liberal in many respects, in conformity with general societal trends. However, these people have tended to become more conservative in a relative sense since their liberalization has not kept pace with changes in the total adult population. Although the evidence suggests that attitudes probably become somewhat less susceptible to change as people grow older, there is scant evidence for any other contribution of aging to conservatism.
- With exception of pro-wrestling, things were far better at the 90's!![]()

- Every day is Russev day!How so? Who's day is it?
Let's dance in style, let's dance for a whileAssuming TS is young.
Yeah, being a young man is often about taking chances and learning through mistakes. We all go through it. I think how quickly someone matures often depends on whether they have a strong father figure to pass down patristic wisdom and tradition.Let's dance in style, let's dance for a while
Heaven can wait, we're only watching the skies
Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst
Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?
Let us die young or let us live forever
We don't have the power, but we never say never
Sitting in a sandpit, life is a short trip
The music's for the sad men
Can you imagine when this race is won?
Turn our golden faces into the sun
Praising our leaders, we're getting in tune
The music's played by the, the madmen
Forever young
I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever?
Forever and ever
- I think learning is part of life of any animal. That' why we get guys that spend their 20's in jail/prison, that never grow up of that. If i was still the same i was at 20, i would be insuferable and really dumb. I used to say to girls that i was a paleontologist, a course we dont even have here. In my opinion, i've matured for the best. But i assume everyone matures diferent.
- Even physically. I posted on the striking forum more than a decade ago. I got the literal pee beat of me in a match. Man, no way i would take that punishment today. I've got better technique today than in 2008, but if i was outclassed like that, i would just throw the towell. Exactly, wisdom. Sucks you can see all the mistakes in the younger people but are physically unable to capitalize. Took me a while to come terms with aging when playing sports but am used to it now and honestly enjoy being the old head.- Even physically. I posted on the striking forum more than a decade ago. Undertaker knows what's up. Also, he was my grandmother's favorite wrestler. Sorry for the useless info but Undertaker brings back memories.- I read a interview from Udertaker, saying young wrestlers punish too much their bodies, just because they can.
