Media I don't think Conor is sober on the ultimate fighter set

If Dee was on me...a russian dude is the last thing I'd care about sir lol.
I don't know, I always have to think of this guy to perform well:

I don't understand.

I said he isn't sober on the show. What are you saying I missed?

edit: nvm, I get it. You think I meant he is just drunk.

Conor is polysubstance. Dude cycles hard to keep the neurotransmitters cycling in whatever way he needs. He is in a continual state of hangover/coke back out of it/drink back down/repeat. He can't breathe. He can barely talk. His eyes are all over the place. He rambles nonsense. I feel bad for him.

Nice try though.

My bad, I read you wrong. I took you saying "he's not" as meaning you disagreed with the OP. Now I realize you were agreeing that he's not sober.

Edit: And I totally agree with your assessment of his condition, with regards to that cycle. It's a rough one that I hope he can break out of, but I doubt he has the humility necessary to do it. He'll probably destroy himself first.

The coaches looks embarrassed <36>

I love how the old guy in the hoodie slowly takes off the gym bag, doesn't react at all to Conor's punches - watching this with no sound (and no context), it very much has the vibe of "video of a drunk bully about to get owned", only thing missing is old guy dropping Conor with one punch and walking away.

Being drunk is the only way he can maintain the charade that he will ever fight Chandler.

And saying he wants 100 fights is like Michael Jackson announcing his retirement tour while he was literally wasting away from addiction to prescription painkillers and tranquilisers

"I'm gonna do 50 shows!"

I don’t think he’s been sober for a 24 hour period since the Mayweather fight

I still can't believe a former 2 times champ and someone who will only have matches with high level competition, has his fucking local boxing coach from when he was a kid in his corner.

Conor should be training in one of the big gyms were the coaches will be less inclined to suck his dick, all these small times coaches he has will never argue with him and never push him pas his limits, and Kavanaugh realized a while ago that right now Conor is the only top name coming out of his gym so he is not gonna fuck up his bag, specially since apparently the covid lockdowns hit him hard financially.
Conor is done for. I don't think the coaches really matter at this point. Maybe like 4-5 years ago.

Conor has become the caricature of himself.

From a super focused martial artist and family man, to the parody of a super “focused” martial artist and “family” man.

He has fallen so far from the charismatic phenom of the pre-Floyd part of his career.

The sad thing is the passion is still clearly there. He actually has a great mind for MMA and on his way up it was interesting to see how he would theorize MMA in his mind. He's just so far gone from his physical prime that it's hard to combine the two. Broke his leg. It's just hard to be motivated when you're set for life.

Yup, he's geeked out for sure.

When you're doing coke for every activity, and not strictly for when you're partying/clubbing, you've got a serious addiction issue.

Conor needs to fucking chill, he's embarrassing himself. Ruining himself. Should probably check into rehab and be humbled, it'd be for the better.....but he won't.

Do it for your family, Conor.
Coke every once in a while is fucking lovely.

I used to keep a gram in my wallet and take a little snoot for special occasions. Lasted a surprising amount of time like that when you don't do every bit of it immediately until you inevitably wind up crawling around on the carpet snorting pocket lint.

A great mind for MMA? Every time he analyzes fights or gives assessments he speaks as the deluded megalomaniac that he is. The guy actually thinks he was winning against Poirier the third time and that he beat Khabib on round 1.

He's a complete embarrassment, and a heap of human garbage to top it off.

In my opinion it’s honestly a disgusting habit and I have watched some of my friends ruing their entire lives for it. Never tried it, never will. Good luck to Conor, that shit is hard to get off of from what I have witnessed.

For him, yes he has a great mind. He pushed himself with his mental approach. The way he approached MMA worked for him while it did. Obviously, yes he can be very deluded and often is, especially when talking about his losses. However, I always appreciated his approach to MMA and his open-mindedness in training techniques.

I think you confuse his enthusiastic demeanor with quality content. The guy is terrible at analyzing fights. Cruz has a great mind for MMA. Firras has a great mind for MMA. Conor is just a salesman.

Conor has access to the best stuff, no doubt. So it's going to be easier for him to get hooked on it.

But he's heading down Tony Montana lane without breaks, it seems. He's geeked out at an mma training facility during filming for crying out loud.

Not going to end well unless he rights the ship, which, for a man with such an overblown ego, isn't likely, unfortunately. His family will suffer for it, as I'm sure they already do.

Cocaine is one of those drugs that is super easy to lose control with. Most people don't have your mentality with it, which is the best mentality to have if you're going to use. So props to you. It makes for a great pick-me-up when feeling the drowsiness alcohol can enduce.

Ever had a one man party? They can be fucking brutal.
