This post is mainly about people saying he would beat Khamzat

I have watched the two UFC fights he has had and I have to say I'm not very impressed with this guy people are claiming can beat Khamzat. He is only a couple of months younger than Khamzat and from what I've seen is worse everywhere. But I can't really see him getting to the top 5 for a long time either. I have seen multiple people say he's also beaten better competition
oh-no-you-didnt-oh-no-you-diint.gif

He has beaten a gassed balding man and Cowboy Olivera compared to the Leech and Gerald Meerschaert

I don't know if he would beat Khamzat, it would be competitive for sure, but he could very well beat Usman. He's got the size, power, and wrestling to give both Usman and Khamzat trouble.

That wolf hat alone is GOAT worthy.

Mullet hat:D

This is solely based on my professional, 9 AM, klonopin, aleve, protein drink, glass of wine, second bout with covid view. But the harder to pronounce the name the better the fighter is perceived on here.

You could turn your keyboard upside down, close your eyes and spell this guys name correct 5/10 times.

In his first two fights he has already beaten Prazeres(10-3 in the UFC) and Oliveira (11-6 in the UFC). Neither fight was close.

Khamzat's first two opponents were 1-3 and 0-0. Meerschaert was 6-5. Li was 10-4.

If you aren't impressed with Shavkat Rakhmonov, then you are an exceptionally poor judge of talent.

He looks pretty cool with the hat and flag.

He's tall and has good reach for the division.

He has good striking and good grappling. He's also undefeated.

I have high hopes for the guy. The only issue is activity. He hasn't fought in what feels like a long time. Does he have a fight booked in the near future?

then you cant recognize talent i guess.

guy got 2 very solid fighters in his first 2 UFC fights and ran through em.

size/length, good hands, good wrestling and ground game.

Comes from a former Soviet country.

Is Muslim??.

Has fur hat.

Greatly skilled.

He has all the makings of the next big thing in MMA.

$0.02

Pros: He has objectively good grappling, is long for the division, currently undefeated with a few decent names on his resume' so he finds a way to win.
Cons: He looks stiff on the feet, keeps his hands low, isn't particularly explosive for the weight class
Neutral: Asian-looking Khazak with a Russian name so he'll appeal to many. Has tools to become a top-10 guy but seems raw in a few areas.

I don't see this man being a problem for Khamzat. I'm happy to post it here now and eat my words later if I'm wrong - the fight game is never an exact science.

Not as hyped for him as I was for Papy Abedi but I do have a little more than a semi atm
