I don’t want to hear anymore about Gane, Pavlovich is the one to watch…. What’s next?

Pavlovich and Gane have the same number of career KOs (2).

Wheres the proof that Pavlovich has more knockout power than Gane?

Pavlovich has stopped his last five opponents via strikes all in the first round.

His power put away Black Beast and Tuivasa inside a minute, seems pretty obvious the power he has.

Pavlovich vs Gane

If jones and ngannou are going to sit then make if for the interim. I think Sergei has leapfrogged blades at this point.
That would suck for Curtis, who is really deserving, and showed real progresses in his last fights IMO.
But from a fan viewpoint, I'd rather see Gane fight Pavlovitch. If it happens, Ciryl should probably NOT fight like he did against Tai. For example, I don't think Pavlovitch would've missed the opportunity to finish Gane after the KD in the Gane/Tai fight.
Although Gane's style is obviously not based on 1 shot KOs, he himself has yet to be finished (in any combat sports), showed really fast recovery against Tai ; he also can bring fights to the latter rounds, with a good gas tank, and obviously good athleticism.

Whoever wins the hypothetical Gane/Pavlovitch fight would send a strong message though.

If Jones actually fights someday, and turns out to be competitive (he's younger than Ngannou after all) , HW might become a quite interesting division. It will also depend on how Tom's injury heals. He'd be a great loss for HW.

I think this man is next in line

all natty

just follow those bunch of tenants

Pavlovich's grappling looked very weak the last time against Overeem, chances are Ngannou will just wrestlefuck him like he did versus Gane.
Pav isn’t built like Gane. he blitzed on Tai and got his hits in early while he was at his strongest and tai hasn’t really experienced anyone catching him on an effective blitz yet, so here that is.
It’s important to understand that Gane doesn’t finish opponents like that because he is very defensively smart and knows, short of an effective and complete grappling skill set, he has everything on deck to beat his opponents on the feet soundly. No such blitz is getting thru to Gane, Sergei will more smartly look for takedowns and Ngannou is a whole other problem because Ngannou can out blitz the shit out of Sergei.

This guy trolled everyone to the bank. There are extremely gullible people on this planet especially in the USA
Never heard about this guy before reading about it on sherdog a few days ago, is he really very popular, or just an influencer amongst the tens of thousands that populate the internet ?

He is one those big scam artists who preached that you can get your testosterone levels high by living like the caveman only to be taking so many PEDS while claiming he is natural and made over 100 million or more. Then he got busted red handed and made a fake apology.

lol @ "pillow" fisted Gane stopping Samoan Tuivasa
That pillow fisted Gane meme is ridiculous of course. He just doesn't brawl, and tries to not turn his fights into a coin flip.
He's one of the few HW that may end his career without too much brain damage, good for him.

Damn. Worst is, I'm sure he still have a lot of support, even after that.

Forget pillow fisted point fighters… Pavlovich has cannons for fists and is cool under chaos. Takes controlled chances and is getting better.

He made Tuivasa realize he had no business being in there with him.

Give this man a title shot or title eliminator. Takes chances and produces results.

What do you guys think?

shut up blue belt

Perfect world

Francis vs Jon
Gane vs sergei
Stipe vs Blaydes

Sergei's base is Greco-Romain wrestling, he originally started that sport as a 5 year old kid. His TDD was solid against Dagestani wrestlers in russian promotions. I bet he can outwrestle Ngannou in clinch
Did you miss him talking to DC about how he was taken down by DC and he wouldn’t let him up in training?

That, in addition to what we saw with Overeem would suggest it’s not the best part of his game at a minimum.

Who did he beat ?

He was 29 years old when he beat a Lewis that was 8 years older than him.

He beat a Tuivasa who took his next fight way too soon after a war against Gane.

He's good and dangerous, but his resume doesn't justify an unlimited hype imo.

Back then Overeem was still one of the best grapplers at HW with some of the best GnP and underrated wrestling.

No. Styles make fights. He thought he could win a firefight with Tai, so he gave Tai what he was looking for, a brawl, and he came out on top. Gane wouldn't play that game and has more than power to work with.
