I don’t understand the hate on PEDs users

For me the issue with PED's is that the advantage a fighter gains from using them doesn't necessarily have to be in them at that moment. For example you get an 18 year old and he starts taking steroids and continues to use them until he's 21. Lets say he then quits cold turkey but continues to train the same. Joins the UFC at age 22 and has been clean for a whole year. Would he get an advantage over an 18 year old that was clean from the start? Would the juicer be physically stronger and more advanced at the same age as the clean fighter. Now genetics does play a huge factor but these are some of the questions that I would be concerned with.

Are you saying money is not a factor at all when it comes to PEDs and passing tests?

It is for low level athletes, but not for any at the UFC level and higher.

Basically, anyone failing tests in the UFC is either too stupid to follow the fairly simple and detailed instructions (ie IQ 70 range and under), or using more than the recommended test-safe dosage because they want to gain an advantage over the people sticking to the recommended dosage.

Basically, failing in the UFC (or Olympics or minor league and higher professional sport) comes down to trying to use more than everyone else is using.

It's always tempting to want to win. It's always tempting to cheat.

When I'm running my '65 Skylark with a 425 nailhead engine in a vintage class, I'll often come up against a factory lightweight car with acid dipped sheet metal and a 426 Max Wedge. Now anyone that knows anything about nailheads knows it's not gonna a be a close race. But I go out there and try, I don't run hidden nitrous lines or anything. Otherwise what's the point?

Now if it's a grudge race, I'll pull out the old nailhead and drop a big inch Chrysler motor in there. 'Cause that's a no rules race. It's fun, crazy, and we all do it.

But when the rules say you gotta run your own brand of engine, no power adders, that's what you do.

Everyones on something one way or another same as Olympics %100 everyones on PEDs

Yes, but the ones getting caught are using more than the ones not getting caught (that or their IQ is under 70 so they can't follow simple procedures).

Some ufc fighters are still only getting 10-14k per fight

I have seen lots of hate on here for the people you mentioned.Cyborg has probably been slammed the most for cheating.Anyways fuck all the cheaters.

Everyone is on PEDs. Its just a reality of professional sports. People who arent pro athletes (99.9% of sherdog) wont know how it works behind the scenes.
Most of sherdog hasnt participated in ANY sports or knowledgable of sports.

Frankly, its shocking how naive most are about PEDS in mma.

True but not only Juicing but also eye poking and other unethical moves ment to end careers! Jones has all these attributes and more! Though I have no respect for any of the ones you’ve mentioned! Bones got busted 2-3 times and still fighting while pulsing! Fuck him and the UFC

then stop watching it

Bisping is calling out PED users, and nobody ever called him out on this
Same with Hunto
You think a guy, who sues the UFC, because of Lesnar using PEDs and the UFC allowing that, would juice himself?

yes

Okay
Its deemed a performance enhancer and banned substance.

Gnc use to sell straight steroids
It's a silly over the counter test booster to make old guys feel good with a placebo effect.
GNC in 2019, not 2005. It's a different shop these days. No under the counter selling.

Many on are peds, just depends who gets caught first.

But somebody like Conor, DC, Robert whittaker those guys would never cheat. Woodley is probably on peds too, he is always bitching.

Bless.
Cormier (d1/olympian) would never cheat

These "fans" who are so offended by today's juicers were Pride fans back in the day, loved all there heroes from yesteryear and everyone of those guys were pumped full of all sorts of shit. Fucking hypocrites. MMA fans are the worst

In Pride that shit was not banned but actively encouraged.

Comparing those athletes to the ones fighting under USADA today is ridiculous.

Wanderlei was not cheating Jones is. It's that easy
anotherelderlyape

Gnc used to sell Andro till it got pulled.

He trains at a gym. Hell, guys at 24 hour fitness are cycling. Why can't Chas Skelly, if he chooses to? I think you greatly underestimate how commonly available this stuff is.
guys at 24h fitness aren't tested by USADA, commissions, etc. it's a play of russian roulette to try that stuff when you never know when they knock on the door

I see it like getting a job, and being expected to make a certain sales quota, and finding out all of the other people in the same position as you have to break the rules to stay competitive. If you don't do the same, then you'll be beaten by those who do. It's easy to condemn them from behind a screen, but for many of them this is their dream and passion, and if they don't use the same tools that everyone else is using, they will fail and have to go work at some normal shit job.

I think there should be certain things they are all allowed to take. There are so many thousands of compounds out there and new ones coming out constantly. They will soon be a part of normal peoples' very day lives since a lot of them are beneficial without sides. Sports will have to adapt because it will never, ever be completely 'clean'.
