So there I was there with my dad walking towards the stadium box office when someone random guy walking with his family gave me one ticket he didn't need.

So I got the other ticket for 100 pesos (5 dollars).

This is a pic from the stadium. 60,000 capacity, 7,000 persons in attendance perhaps at the fullest moment of the event.

When the main event started everyone on the upper part on the stadium was allowed to go down on the lower part when the crew accepted it was not getting any fuller.

So there we was, getting near ground level seats only paying 5 dollars for the 2 of us. This is a pic of Anderson vs Chavez jr. Only fight I actually enjoyed.

Anyway, conclusion for me was boxing is dead.

If you take that as a barometer of the health of the sport of boxing, you are out to lunch.

Everybody in attendance was there to see JCC Sr, and that was a 4 round exhibition with head gear. That was by no stretch a major event for the sport.

In terms of the outcome, I don't think you'll find too many boxing fans that are anything but happy with the result.
I am boxing first, mma second and pretty much nothing else rates sports wise... I do love both sports...and I was delighted. Jr has been getting paid to be the son of the great JCC Sr., not on his skills or will, and it was great to see him beaten by a pretty broken down Anderson Silva.

Don't believe for a second that AS would have a chance in hell against some of the actual elite in the sport, because he did not look great. Good enough to beat the chump in front of him last night, and that's good enough for me.

ps, your mustache needs work, but you have a better hairline then most..
