I live in Vancouver and know the strip club business quite well. I have a couple friends who also own strip clubs here.

About half of all of strippers over here also work as escorts on the side. It’s not uncommon at all.

My wife's friend is a former stripper. She met her husband stripping. The husband then really got into church and Jesus. She eventually cheated on the husband and he found out. She ended up pregnant around that time and the assumption is that the kid belongs to the husband but who knows. He stayed with her and just pretended like it didn't happen. She then decided to do God's work and would try to help prostitutes turn their lives around. She even started letting them stay at their house even though they have 3 daughters. This ended after a while once they realized that prostitutes are addicts and are really fucked up. Now she rescues stray cats and has a dozen inside and many more outside.
