and it was only a week ago.

This is the problem with so many events. they are not "events" anymore. The great performance by Moraes would have stayed with me for months back in 2010 but today it wont even stay with me for a few days.

Ill probably forget about UFC 225 in a few days.

it has just become this cycle.

I remember great fights... and since our sport is fighting that is ok i guess.

Alzheimer's is a helluva disease.

maybe you have early or actually very late signs of dementia?

you have forgotten about it
are you sure because you just made a thread on it . ???

I remember the co-main and main events because they were quite good fights with better finishes.

Great cards get announced then they break apart with good fights headlining weak cards. It's a UFC gimmick.

I agree, but I still wouldn't change a thing about the amount of events today. Today's fights may not resonate like 2004's fights, but we get so much more. Back then, there were only 5 weight classes, anyway. I love watching a UFC event almost every week.

I didn't even know that card was even made until Sherdog put up a preview article.

That fight should have been like the 3rd or 4th fight of a 5 fight ppv card. Not headline some forgetful free card.
