Hypothetically, how would Khabib vs Danis go?

Danis is a legit, modern submission artist who is taller and heavier. The fight might actually be competitive because of this.
"decent grappler" isnt true

Id bet on Khabib...but no, take ure blinders off, Danis is elite at grappling
Danis could win via size, reach, and superior BJJ
1. Khabib could destroy him on the feet if he wanted to, considering Dillon got rocked by a can
2. Danis has an 18-16 BJJ record, Khabib destroys him on the ground too

Khabib takes his time, this would be 2-3 rounds long. Not saying it would be good for Danis, the opposite.
I was obviously being humorous in going over the top- but still think khabib too much class for the bigger ( or getting to be same size) and over hyped danis

A random dude dropped Danis in a club

1. We are going to assume Dillon is able to progress in his striking and will get better each fight, considering he just started striking and will grow exponentially each fight. Some people dont figure it out, but I think he will in that camp. Maybe not though

2. I was taken aback looking at his BJJ record I cant lie....didnt know it was 18-16.....but even with that, hes competing at the highest levels of grappling in the world....Im not sure his record puts him at a disadvantage to Khabib in that aspect of MMA, and rather I think him competing at that level consistently helps. Honestly his only chance is leg locks...the grappling circuit is all leglocks, and it hasnt yet made that large transition to MMA, and I think it will eventually, and if u dont think a high level grappling circuit guy can heelhook an MMA fighter that cant strike (Khabib)...I have a bridge to sell u

Ive been saying for the longest time Ryan Hall is Khabibs biggest threat...even though different weight classes and no chance of that fight happening

Khabib vs Danis in a grappling match would be more competitive

Danis could possibly win that type of match

Dillon Danis is not a legitimately-tough, true fighter ...

He's a decent grappler ... who makes a lot of noise "to be heard" ... but he does not have the overall skillset to beat Khabib in an MMA fight.

Danis also doesn't have the true mettle to handle Khabib in a war to the finish.

In short, Dillon Danis is a poser, an MMA wanna-be, but he is not worthy of the comparison.
How would you know if he was a true fighter or not?

I don't disagree that it's a bit of a silly matchup to even conceive of

but making that assertion based on nothing essentially is just silly

Would be interesting to see how danis handles getting hit in the face

No he wouldn't. Khabib would literally dominate in a grappling match. Better wrestler AND better submission grappler and the only good thing Danis is good at is submission grappling.

Calling Danis a "decent grappler" immediately destroys your credibility.

Dillon is a high-level blackbelt competitor. He's also a bigger guy than Khabib and wouldn't be afraid to engage him on the ground. It's an interesting fight.

it would go like khabib v. conor without the threat of striking

Dilon’s BJJ credentials are vastly overrated by mma fans who don’t know much about the BJJ world.

he’s 18-16 as a black belt in competitions.

in a historical context, even guys like Vitor Belfort are more accomplished than him in the grappling world.

see above post
Obviously Khabib as a gillion times more experience and is an elite fighter. But if you don't think it would be interesting to see him go up against a bigger, younger opponent that's also an elite specialist in his comfort zone? I don't know what to tell you.
