No. I mean not the same as in it loses excitement, it gets boring.

It's like seeing a girl for the first time....and you think she's gorgeous. No flaws. The 10th time you see her, she's still good looking, but you see some faults. Honestly, it can be possible to sometimes lose almost all appreciation for a very attractive girl.

It's psychological evolution. Genetic variation is very important to many species', and men getting bored of their women is a good way to encourage that.
