Media Hunter Campbell meets Islam in Dagestan

No I'm just presenting facts straight up. Jon has been a ONCE a year fighter for a very long time now.
The reasons why are irrelevant. Doesn't matter if it's for a suspension or fight negotiations or injury or him just taking vacation. The UFC audience has been conditioned for over a decade to expect to see Jon Jones fight once a year.

Which is also why I pointed out that if we get to November 2025 and Jon hasn't fought then something actually is going on. If he does fight by then then it's just business as usual.

I'm sorry I'm not framing the facts to fight the narration you want to present. Bottom line is Jon is and has been a once a year fighter.
You're the kinda guy that will see Jon Jones suspended for the entire year of 2018, and then he fights ONCE in December 2018 immediately after his suspension ends.

You: "Jones fought once in 2018. No context."

Enough said.

Because the context doesn't change the fact he only fought once in 2018. The suspension is why he only fought once in 2018. But your missing the bigger picture. Him fighting ONCE in 2018 was already business as usual for Jon by then. That's what your missing. The why isn't important.

Bro you're trying to make the point that he usually defends his belt once a year despite the fact that most years he defended once was because he was SUSPENDED.

And even if you were right, which you aren't, it ignores the fact that defending your belt once a year is not acceptable.

It doesn't matter that was suspended.

Jon's history of suspensions, injuries, legal troubles, contract negotiations, vacation, etc. HIS ENTIRE HISTORY has made him a once a year fighter since 2014.

It doesn't matter that he missed almost 2 years negotiating to fight Ngannou just to have Ngannou leave the UFC and fuck off everyone's time. It doesn't matter that he tore his pec training for Stipe which cost him a year. It doesn't matter that he missed time because of a PED suspension or he had to work out his legal issues.

Jon's behavior has turned him into a once a year together since 2014. Him fighting once a year is the norm for him. You're stuck on the why Jon missed time. The why isn't important. When you look at the totality of Jon career since 2014 SOMETHING has happened to Jon to make him only fight ONCE a year every year except 2019.
