Hunt: I don’t know how he can make 265 pounds

Don't get me wrong, I love Hunt, I really do, but... boo-fuckin-hoo. Sounds like Nick getting his ass kicked by GSP and then talking about how he supposedly didn't make weight while there's a whole athletic commission behind the weigh-ins.

edit: a couple of users have warned me that I may have misinterpreted Hunt's quote when he was just impressed, not suggesting anything. If that's the case, I apologise.

To be honest GSP even at weigh ins looks bigger then 170..and Lesnar looks bigger then 265

he is like a big pitbull, strong, fast, brutal.

After that fight I can't see how people don't want to see Brock fight again. He is always entertaining, knows how to promote a fight (on ESPN, on FOX, on Youtube) and is a beast. I really want to see him face Cain and if he wins fight Werdum.

Nick had a video and many people witness GSP not make weight.

Hunt talking about weight cutting is funny considering he is one of the few HW's who cut weight too.

I saw several opportunities where Brock was just standing in front of Hunt, and Hunt was in punching range and would just not throw. Strange to see Hunt so reserved.
It's called respect for the takedown

Just like how fear of getting hit can make a wrestler hesitate

But he swung many times. Brock blocked a few, dodged a few, and ducked under a couple to go for a takdown (one of which the timing was master-level, he went right under a big right swing and was on a leg in a heartbeat)

But Brock also took at least two punches that I saw on the feet and he didn't panic at all. Took one right to the eye and took it well

Hunt is a good dude. Doesn't strike me as a guy who gets sour grapes or who makes excuses.

He came, he fought, he got paid 700K.

It's not like he got embarrassed. He just got grapple-controlled by a high level wrestler who was larger than him.

Is normal.
Yeah, pretty much. I mean, he was grinning from ear to ear in the video that TS took that quote from lol. He'll get back at it soon enough. Despite what people may think, or want, I suspect this won't hurt his stock much at all. As you said, there really isn't any shame in getting grappled to a decision by UberBork. I'm guessing we'll get to see him on the next Australia card which is in November or sumthin.
War Hunto imo

hunt only hit brock once and brock was wincing the entire time after. literally if hunt smacked him a few times, not even hard, brock would have wilted.

same if brock fights again. he can't take punches ot the face. plus he looked petrified

It hurt his orbital area pretty bad as you can see in the post fight

I originally just thought that hunt was in phenomenal shape then I saw him fight. Reminded me of the Hunt that went on the losing streak a few years back.
as in the hunt that was fighting Fedor and barnett?

Yeah did kinda remind of that. Because he was fighting a great opponent

He is gigantic. I'm sure it's tough to have a guy like that on top of you.

Imagine when Royce fought Chad Rowan

not too bad for hunt,,,, theres been worst , like his fight with Santos...:D

I think about things like this often. I'm 6' 225 and I'm not some enormous dude at all. Brock only weighs 40 lbs more than me? Side by side he'd make me look like a child.

A guy who's been wrestling for most of his life is good at cutting weight. This is a shocker. It isn't even his biggest cut or the biggest he's looked, he wasn't just a house against Herring he was a full apartment building.

Also the mystery is generally solved if you just look at him from the waist down. It's not like Brock doesn't have good drive and good full body power but those legs are uh...not the biggest let's say.

He definitely has a skinny waist given how massive his upper body is

Cains the only one I don't want to see thanks to his cardio and wrestling

But Brock has a great chance against anyone else

My dream match for him is actually.....Josh Barnett

Josh's striking is nowhere near as dangerous as the men that have stopped brock or came close to with strikes

And Josh's wrestling is overrated. I think people would be shocked at how easily Brock would outwrestle him

yes, 2 pro wrestlers going at it...
I don't think brock would waste his time though with barnett.... nothing to prove..

OK point taken.

More so meant him looking for the single punch KO and not using combos, footwork or set ups.

Actually he landed two punches standing at least

But um...are you implying that its just brock that would "wilt" if smacked a "few more times" by MARK HUNT.

Cause I'm pretty sure everyone wilts when they take a few punches from Mark hunt.

He cut to 265.5 lbs then by fight night he was in the low 290's lbs that morning weight-in with extra hours is better.

Tell me how does one put on 25 lbs over night? He must have spent $500 on steaks and pancakes, 280 lbs seems more realistic
