I always root for Alex & this may be the biggest fight of his career

Chikadze (9) is a step up in competition but if Caceres (15) somehow takes it he should break into the FW top 10 & be 8-1 of last 9

Can Bruce Leeroy snag the upset in Singapore? Is his late career resurgence train rolling on?

Thoughts/Predictions?

Interesting post.

Caceres = underrated.

I think Chikadze = talented asshole.

Not saying I am predicting Caceres will win, but I really hope he does.

Caceres is the type of dude I'd like to see excel ...
Chikadze is the type of dude I'd like to see fail ...

Why do you like to see him fail? Did I miss something on the guy?

I got Caceras to win this one. He's got a huge edge when it comes to hair.

There are no small fights.

Only small fighters.

Caceres is going to have to weather the early storm as he's at a significant striking and speed disadvantage. He needs to make Giga work physically, get inside and close the distance, not taking too much damage trying to do so. If he can survive and tire Giga out, he's got a shot with his grappling. I think Chikadze should be the rightful favorite and I expect him to win.

I am a big fan of Caceres, however, as his growth as a mixed martial artist has been exponential after he looked to have plateaued and his career stalled. His recent resurgence and the fact that this is a personal journey for him, along with his maturity as a fighter and a person, has made following his career worthwhile. I would be happy with an upset.
