Huge fight for Caceres

I don't favor Caceres, but if he's ever going to beat giga, tomorrow would be the best time to do it because momentum is on his side. Giga is coming off a long lay off and has always struggled with cardio in round 3, plus caceres will have a decent grappling advantage.

Dunno if Giga is Alex's biggest fight of his career when he's already went 5 rounds to a split decision against Yair. That's literally better than anything Giga has ever done lol.

Giga's best effort was when he got exposed by Kattar.

He is my boy and he gonna smesh this prick submission slipper.

Get ready to witness him grapple Cacefes with the ground like it's a soapy slip 'n slide.

I love some Bruce Leeroy, but I'm thinking Giga is going to put a clinic on him. He doesn't have the power or wrestling threat to give Giga pause, and likely gets lit the fuck up. Caceres is way too willing to just go with the flow of whatever his opponent brings, and that's a recipe for disaster against a guy as dangerous as Chikadze.

Interesting post.

Caceres = underrated.

I think Chikadze = talented asshole.

Not saying I am predicting Caceres will win, but I really hope he does.

Caceres is the type of dude I'd like to see excel ...
Chikadze is the type of dude I'd like to see fail ...
Very, very well put.

Alex holding it down for the real Martial Artists out there, i hope he can get a most honorable win and continue his path...

This is a great moment for him, win or lose may he fight bravely and make a great account of himself for all to see.

Rooting for Bruce Leeroy to get this done...

I always root for Alex & this may be the biggest fight of his career

Chikadze (9) is a step up in competition but if Caceres (15) somehow takes it he should break into the FW top 10 & be 8-1 of last 9

Can Bruce Leeroy snag the upset in Singapore? Is his late career resurgence train rolling on?

Thoughts/Predictions?

Im rolling with Alex. He's been hot. He's an underdog. And I don't like Giga.

Hope Caceres wins, expect him to get shut down though.

Crazy how low level most of Alex's wins are, yet he's sneaked into the rankings beating Erosa and then Pineda.

No hate, but those are not elite feathers weights.

Alex needs a career best performance here, but I think he gets lit up.

I have always liked Caceres, like Bruce Lee he is always trying to evolve his skills. Really starting to come into own lately.

Uriah Faber? Sergio Pettis?

Biggest fight in his career

Alex beats Giga he's a top 10 FW with a potential title shot on the horizon at 35 y.o.
If not he's likely reached his pinnacle & it's downhill from here

I think Alex is good enough not to get into danger on the feet. Now with that said I believe Alex should employ his ground game and just obliterate Giga there.

I actually watched the TUF with him on way back. One of the only tufs I watched. I don't think he's top 10 material. I think he will get beat. But he made a nice career for himself. Bruce Leeroy

This post is spot on - couldn’t agree more !

It’s amazing how long Caceres has been in the UFC. He’s always game though, he was the first to finish Sergio Pettis I believe. It was either Caceres or Benoit. It’s been awhile

So you say Alex wins, via hair.
Should I bet on that? Lol
I don't give betting advice since I don't gamble. I only gamble on marriage (once) and the stock market. I like Caceras to win the fight. I'd give the edge to Giga with standup but Caceras as the overall better MMA fighter including his cardio. I'm a Caceras fan since I never thought he would last this long or be this good. Without seeing the ins and outs of his training, I would attribute it to hard work and a love of the sport. I also think his coaches deserve a lot of credit. I love when guys suprise me in a positive way with their careers instead of just not reaching what I believe is their full potential.

Edit: His hair at this point of his career is very impressive....it's undeniable.
