Opinion Howard Stern, cancelled?

Liberals' heads would explode if they heard some of the things Stern used to have on his show. The same liberals who see that you liked a tweet that contained the N-word back in 2009, therefore you deserve to be fired, publicly shamed, banished from society, and anybody in your family that carries your name will owe black people a yearly apology for the next 50 years. I find it hilarious that he became some liberal hero in recent years.

I'm going to need a definition of liberal.

I think Trump is a moron, MAGA is stupid and ruining our country.

I think old Stern is mostly funny but I've never been offended by it.

I also think there's a difference between comedy/performance and true beliefs.

The actual content of the tweet that contained the N-word would probably be important in my judgement of someone liking it. Is it a poor taste joke or something actually hateful? Probably would judge based on that.

I think cancel culture in general is dumb anyway.

Goddamn, I was such a fan of this guy's show. I still listen to his shows from the years Artie was on, but it became unlistenable just a few years after Artie left. I stopped listening years before Stern went woke and I've only seen bits and pieces of his recent stuff. No way Stern takes a pay cut so if this news has any truth to it, that really will be the end of his show. I don't see anybody else paying that money for his radio show. He might do some TV stuff though.

Trump is wrong about them not having talent. Colbert was great on the Colbert show. Never watched his late night one on CBS. Kimmel has some funny things now again. I despise Fallon though and I do hope his show gets canned. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Conan were the only late one shows I watched. Now I don't even watch TV much unless its a TV series, movie or sports. Problem is late night is a dying media as more and more people listen to Podcasts. A lot of the musicians, artists and actors I like are doing podcasts and since many are long form you get more to talk about.

Nothing like being in high school and getting off work at the pizza buffet place I worked at and gorging on leftover pizza with Howard Stern and Wild On (with every commercial break having a Girls Gone Wild spot) every night during the week.
