And its not like Maia is some sort of dangerous striker either, which is Palhare's weakness.

I think it's safe to say that Jacare would win. Grappling would be neutralized, and Jacare IMO would be too much for him on the feet. Jacare's isn't the most elite striker, but he is better than Maia, and definitively more powerful.
