How would Jon Jones vs Yoel Romero go?

Jones takes him down, controls him, and subs him to prove a point

Same way Jones versus every 6 foot striker with heavy hands has went.

Jones would keep him at bay with his reach and win by decision. Unless gay Jesus lands something good..

I really don’t see Romero having any success vs Jones. Romero is a good comeback fighter. He is usually losing the fight, And then comes back in the later rounds. Against Jones, that will probably mean that Romero is finished in the early rounds. And Jones is not the guy that is overconfident if he is ahead, so it is not easy for Romero to land something.

Yoel oblique kicks Jons calf into the bleachers. Realistically Jon probably keeps him at distance and wins a decision.

VS. any other fighter, Romero gets in and delivers the goods.

VS. Jones...nah.

Jones has fought virtually every configuration of fighter...and has succeeded, often times, succeeded GREATLY.
He had trouble with Daniel in boxing range. Yoel is quicker than Daniel and probably hits harder. Plus Yoel has better footwork and distance management than Jones.

We'll never see it, but to say Yoel wouldn't have a chance to KO Jones is a little nutty.

If Jones can stop doping and pass a few tests we might see this fight in the future.

I doubt Yoel hits harder than DC, however, I believe Yoel is much more accurate with his striking.

Anyone has a chance at KO'ing Jones...if Jones simply stood there with his chin in the air.

Whenever you envision a fight's outcome you MUST factor in the game plan being administered, and not solely a fighter's striking/grappling skills. Needless to say, Jackson's MMA are wonderful at devising effective strategies.

Jones is a wayyyyy better, bigger, lengthier version of Whittaker.... better striking, better grappling, better distance control

Imagine if Yoel just goes all out 100% effort with the focus on trying to finish Jones in the first. It would be one epic round.

Yoel Romero will not be able to handle Jon Jones's pressure. Plus, Jon Jones has great striking defense, so Yoel Romero's puncher's chance KO will not be that easy to get. Furthermore, Jon Jones has 57% striking accuracy. Yoel will definitely eat too many shots. The numbers indicate that Jon Jones will probably win.

Jones striking is in no way better than Whittaker. At all. Or better distance control. Not a chance.

No way, Jose.

Jon's Skills, Natural Talent, Reach, combined with an impeccable strategy would guarantee Jon a 45-40 UD.

what naturel talent you mean from the peds he still allowed to get away with taking.

yoel is a different level wrestler and grappler than anyone jon fought.

And, Jon’s a completely different beast than what Romero has fought!

Btw, I’m a HUGE Romero fan, and probably like him more than Jones.

yoel will get jon on his back and jon wont know what to do. if they fight i bet yoel would be the bigger fighter.

In order to beat Jones imo, you gotta swarm him and overwhelm him, make him uncomfortable before knocking him out with a power shot. Tt would also be very very very helpful if said person has a size advantage over jones because jones has shown in the past that he has more issues with guys around his size or bigger than him, but of course, jones always pushes through. Yoel romero's style is not to overwhelm you as it more of a "less is more" style, and Yoel Romero doesnt have a size advantage over him but Romero has shown in the past that he's able to close the distance with larger dudes, however jones knows how to bully smaller oponents with his size advantage. Jon Jones is tricky in the octagon and knows how to not get hit, so i'd say Jones would win although you should never ever count out Yoel Romero, literally all he needs is one punch and Jon Jones is out cold, and Jones' weakest feature is his striking (not to say hes a bad striker of course).
