How Rare is Khabib's 29-0-0 Record in MMA, Really?

How many times have you avoided the question now? I'm glad Herb is the ref and let you tap repeatedly. The fact that you're frantically trying to use misdirection and dance around this one question tells me that you know.

I'll accept your submission and let go of the choke, bud. You can go back to the internet pretend time patty cake na-na-na-boo-boo shit you new kids are so fond of these days. Cheers.

Your unearned confidence after never actually addressing the topic is adorable, man.

Let me know when you can find more fighters that have accomplished perfect records as long as Khabib's or longer, okay pal?

Currently, the tally's at 3, making 29 - 0 - 0 one of the rarest perfect records in the sport, and the only one with ranked and championship wins.

That's the reality, whether you can cope with it or not.

If an undefeated record is the main goal it helps a lot to pad the record early and start fighting good competition later in one’s career.

As an example, out of Khabib’s first 16 opponents only one has even a wiki page.
Meanwhile GSP fought a 4-0 Ivan Menjivar in his very first pro match and was fighting the likes of Karo Parisyan and Matt Hughes in his 6th and 8th mma fights.
Jones fought Machida, Rampage, Shogun, Bader, and Vera within his first 16 fights.
Now imagine if GSP and Jones added another 16 “cans” at the beginning of their career. Their records would be a lot different.
Yeah, but Jones didn't start his career in a shit hole third world country. I was saying that, because someone said it's not uncommon for someone to start their career undefeated. It's common to a point, not too many get past 20 in a row tho
