The healthcare industry has become so corporatized most medical providers need the umbrella of the corporation because the malpractice insurance scam priced most of them out of being able to make a good living from a private practice.
The big pharma (the p is silent) companies and healthcare inc make out no matter what. U pay, insurance pays, or gov't pays. And then any loss they take (which isn't an actual loss, just the difference between the negotiated value of their price gouging between them and the insurance) gets written off as a loss for tax purposes.
Have you seen those circulars for dept store jewelry sales that say previously $899 now only $99. Except then the dept store would be able to claim that as a $800 loss and apply it to their taxes, but they're still profiting on the same piece of shit that only cost them $20 to begin with.
