I'm not even a pro and I train hard twice a day most days so can't see why a professional athlete couldn't train twice a day. Steroids are for cowards

Ya I have a gym at work and I work out at home tooHow do you train twice a day? Like you go the gym in the morning and again at night? Double gymming?
Ohh makes sense. I thought you were making two trips for a second and was disgusted by your commitmentYa I have a gym at work

lol - boxing.USADA sure did change things up. Training hard multiple times a day almost every day of the week seems difficult without special supplements.
hi Rogan.Happens a lot. Fighters are just too fucking tough for their own good but the mentality around training has changed a lot in the last 10-12 years. Coaches have gotten much more mindful of protecting their fighters from their own crazy desire and willpower.
hi Rogan.
Let’s see if we can figure out what 1+2 is.3x a day is deceptive. They might have 1 intense session then have 2 smaller sessions like a run or a little pad work, I would call a true 2x day multiple intense sessions.
None taken it's a good point. But their fitness and technique has been built up for years and years and they're able to train at a much higher intensity than one of us. Plus I'm sure they know their bodies and will take an easy day when they need oneThats different my man. No offense but there is working out and there is training. The intensity is far different. I doubt you train full force for 3-4 hours at home. All props to you if you do.
That's a good point too. But it's very doable without steroids unless you're a pussyThere's a difference between training and "working out". Training is usually 1.5h of sparring/drilling and working out could be a morning run, hitting the weights or some pad work. You could work out 3/day 6 days a week, not train though.
Age plays a big difference too. I bet Sage Northcutt could train more than Shogun in a week.
