It could and did happen.
Remember this shit?

It could and did happen.
In the US, the cops would have called in over 12 guys for backup, slammed him face first into the ground, piled on him, tazer him, bloody his face, all the while screaming,"STOP RESISTING!" Then when the guy inevitably died, the cops would carry out their own internal investigation and rule the force used was appropriate.
We're not pussies!
Dude, that bum kicked one of your cops and all he did was laugh. Didnt throw a grenade, call out the dogs, taze him, bust some caps in him or even try to fight back. Hell the bum was even alive at the end.
Next we should watch a video of a doctor doing surgery and we all tell him/her what they are doing wrong
I do suppose that the police in any country often is a reflection of the society in general. Norway is like the paradise on earth(with the highest living standards, close to no social problems and like no1 in international "happiness" studies). The US cops has to deal with gangbangers and methheads etc.
Here in Sweden the police is way harsher than in Norway and I suppose it has too do with things like sportshooliganism, political violence, segregation etc.
impressive no doubt but leaving themselves open to attack is a grave mistake. A drunken man is the least bit logical, which when approached by an intimidating force (police) the miscreant's level of aggression and fear will spike, these officers did an outstanding verbal de escalation yet completely miscalculated their own safety.
I can't quite understand all the negative comments regarding US officers, maybe some in this thread have been on the receiving end of the police force or penal system?
