How much weight is cut on average? How much water weight do fighters cut?

Bro, have you ever been on a scale? Do you have eyes?
Holloway is super lean, thin frame, not mascular at all, and barely 6 feet. In which universe is he 180 pounds? Only way that could be true is if he gained 10+ lbs of fat out of camp. No way he is cutting from 180 lbs.

Edit: obviously agree with the post right above me
I didn't say 180.

Holloway said over 180 and says he loves to eat especially cup cakes.

I think Holloway knows what he weighs better than you.

Sources are good :)

"During an appearance on "The MMA Hour" Monday, the featherweight champion, who revealed he was possibly over 180 pounds when fight week arrived..."
I'd be curious what was said exactly.
I'm talking about a video on YouTube of Holloway in the gym. He said 3 things in that video I remember.

1. I'm normally over 180 pounds.
2. I love to eat especially cupcakes.
3. He doesn't see himself at FW for too much longer.

#3 is funny beggar Holloway said they as FW champ a few years ago and he's still at FW.

He should be fighting at 170lb limit, no?

Why would he fight at 170, weighing 160 and fighting against guys who weigh 180-195?

That's why we use the word "systemic" to explain this weight cut thing.

But if you know that and were just picking on that guy for fun and I butted in for no reason, apologies.

@Miokink026 is calling me an idiot for saying no one is cutting 35lbs or over 50lbs of water weight. Especially with IV bans

@Miokink026 says average LW and FW and people are cutting 35lbs of weight or more, and that some HW are 300lbs or over 300lbs (cutting 35lbs or 40lbs or more!)

Can we get some real evidence some science as to what is feasible to cut? And what people actually weigh in the cage in fight night.

I am actually poking fun at the cowardly "fighters", not our Sherbro.

You have to be a complete chicken shit and lack self confidence, with no belief in your skills whatsoever to duck oponents your size or bigger.

We all know why fightets cut weight and it has nothing to do with performance.

Systemic Ducking...
