I need to go to lowes later and get some 2x4s and build a table but dont know what I need. I want the table to be 6ft in length and 3ft in width and 3ft in height. I am thinking 6 legs and 2 support beams.

Wtf, do we look like Jesus...

Design and draft in Lego, or I'm not helping you.

they sell bigger 2x then 2x4 I'm sure you can get the shit cut there too.

Screw lumber. You need a brick table.

Our resident brick expert, @Clippy, will deliver it to you.

Are you in a contest to build the shittiest table? Who uses 2x4s?

What are you using for the table top? Scrap aluminum?

Because I like you, the real answer is 24 feet of 2x4s.

If you make all your cuts perfectly.

Also if you buy two 12 foot pieces. Don't buy three 8 foot pieces or it won't come out right.

60' cut to size. Deduct 18' if you don't want the table to stay upright.

Edit" 234 meters

Why not go onto Craigslist, or some other used product reseller site?

If you're not good at building things ,and you're not doing this for fun, or experience, this will cost you more time, money and energy than it is worth. Go to Lowe's, RONA Home Depot, or Costco Etc ...

Take it from the Mayberry's "jack of all trades, master of some" guy.

ply wood. the table is not gonna be fancy and no one will see it when its done.

use 4x4's for the uprights, and put some diagonals on the legs just in case

If you are having a crab and train party when you are done I'm there

Those are the worst fucking blueprints I've ever seen. Don't even bother building this table, it's going to suck shit.

naw. It will be good. I will post pics. when done.

naw. i need it to fit a specific area and size. So it makes it to hard to find on craiglidt

How about Staples or another office supply? You can go online and hunt down something that folds up or is on wheels. Trust me building a table out of two-by-fours is going to be a bulky heavy shity expensive thing. I build 7 days a week, homes from top to bottom, appliances repair, Electronics repair, mechanical, refurbishing furniture Etc...

I have built plenty of shelves and tables out of wood and metal, and can tell you that if you're an amateur builder this is not going to be worth it. If you are going to do it, find some drawings online and look into putting it on wheels that lock in place, and some folding leg mechanisms that act as bracing. It's an excellent option to have available to you. Also use 5/8 ply for the top, you can also use triangular plywood cut-offs for corner bracing as an option.
