Odd thread and I won't bite because I feel similarly about the quiet humble fighters, but there is ALWAYS room for fighters that trash talk effectively like Chael Sonnen as opposed to someone like Josh Koschek who is merely a bully.

I will suggest even though you've had your account for 12 years not to ask anyone's opinion of you personally because you'll likely (and already have) received boring tiresome responses that are pithy in nature with not an ounce of actual information or any interesting participation. Although there have been some interesting humorous responses that are favorable.

The WMMA thing I agree with too. I never thought the fights would interest me but they have and even though the 135 division is ruled by a FAR superior fighter to any of her other competition there is still room for it to grow. Especially the Straw weight and atom weight divisions (Even though atom weight isn't in the UFC quite yet) The fact that some of the women's fights are more interesting than the men's fights doesn't surprise me because you unleash a little of the inner hellcat in a women and they'll go for broke to fuck you up. Especially a superior fighter like Rousey as opposed to her last opponent.

My favorite fighter archetype is the great, humble, veteran (Fedor, GSP)

But another very much liked archetype is the humble, underdog (Amir Sadollah). I never knew how he was going to do, but I knew he was always going to fight his hardest and credit his opponent at the end of the fight. So I like him.

The most interesting thing about this thread is that the TS has his opinions but is open to criticism and discussion.

The people that are contrary and firmly opposed to the thread, his opinions, and his ideas, seem to be mostly rude and unwilling to entertain the idea, let alone an attempt at conversation or debate.

It would not hurt you to be a bit more open minded. Live and let live. You can have different opinions without hate, at least civilized people can anyway.

I'm certain I could make the sport better than him because I actually care about the sport. Could I do the business aspect better than him. Probably not, I think he and I would be equally terrible at it, so in regards to business I'd probably have to do what Dana does, and just listen to the Fertittas whom are actual business men. But if doing what they tell me means selling my soul the way Dana has, I probably wouldn't want the job.
