How much do pros train

A friend of mine used to be a pro kickboxer. From Monday to Friday he had two hard sessions per day, one session on Saturday and a day off on Sunday.
 
Too much training is not good. Saps energy. Tires the body. Pros sometimes also use "suplements" that make them more energetic and recover fast. Pro sports also is about performance. Health is more important.
 
Thank God rest day is over and sparring day starts thursday.
