How many title defenses would Usman have gotten if that head kick didn’t land?

imo he's better than Belal then and now.

I don't know how Belal became champion- it still baffles me lol
Belal has put his time in. It is rarely exciting but everyone, the opponents, the audience, we all know what Belal is going to do, and no one can stop him from doing it. Usman was definitely slowing down, and I think outside of a well-placed punch, he loses the decision to Belal.

Usman went toe-to-toe with Khamzat I think he can handle Belal lol.

I literally think Belal just peaked and overperformed at a time when Leon dipped and underperformed.

Belal hasn't lost since 2019 and is riding a 10 fight win streak, that doesn't happen by accident. It's all moot at this point but if Usman won the decision against Leon and fought Belal in his next defense, he's losing the decision.

I think if he had gotten the decision over Leon and we do not get that stupid, stupid rematch he would've lost to either Belal or Khamzat.
Yeah, they wouldnt rematch, considering champ wins and it was their 2nd fight already.

Usman probably defends once more and then loses, he did alright against Chimaev on short notice and it would had been a 5 round fight.

Belal is consistent af but literally he was beating up past-prime dudes on his way to Leon and then it turns out Leon is somehow deflated too.

I could be wrong. Maybe he's just that good- but it doesn't look right lol.

That night against Leon was the only time I saw him look like an elite world beater and something about it seems flukey to me lol.

When you are being help up against the fence and can't do anything about it, you will always look bad or deflated as you put it.

Bullshit. Belal beat everybody in front of him. Old dudes, Prime dudes, top dudes. I cannot believe the amount of hate this guy gets still, especially after beating the shit out of Leon in what turned out to be a pretty good fight. Is Sean Brady a can or a washed up old guy? SMH.

Colby would have killed him in the third rematch

What are talking about?

Belal FINISHED Sean Brady

I’m sorry but you have been blinded by hate

After the events of yesterday, I can’t help but wonder
Which “Headlock” are you referring to, buddeh?

He only got as many defences as he did became he was cherry picking defences. Literally called out Masvidal for a rematch after shutting him out in Masvidal’s previous TS.

Khamzat would've been a lock to beat Usman, but Belal I go back and forth. I think Usman could defend takedowns and turn it into standup only, but also he did struggle with Leon, where Belal bulldozed Leon. Belal probably would've been his final WW defense at most.

Two things:
1. You are racist
2. That wasn't Leon it was Carlos Newton that landed that headlock. But to you all black UFC WW champions look alike don't they?

Holy hell never knew carlos Newton was that ripped

He would have lost to a more motivated, hungrier BeLOL. Not that BeLOL is a better fighter

Why do folks think Belal matches up so well against Usman? Kamaru is a brick wall and even if you get him down, you can't finish him as even berserker mode Khamzat couldn't. He would have stuffed belal and picked him apart standing.

Khamzat by then couldn't make WW so Usman's reign would have been safe. He could have stayed champ even up till now.
