If Cain wins a third fight, that will be the end of it.

If JDS wins, they'll fight as long as it takes for Cain to become a champ again.

The UFC will choose the option that makes them the most money which is rematches.

If the UFC spaced out their shots appropriately and let them each build momentum this wouldn't happen. Plus when they did fight it would be more exciting.

Couldn't agree more, I wish the UFC would let guys get something going before handing out title shots to guys on 2/3 win streaks.

How would 3 work though? JDS/Cain are far above everyone else in the HW division, when one of them loses in their 3rd match and they have to fight contenders they will obviously win, so how will a true contender arise? By letting them skip over Jds/cain for a title shot? Because if they fight either one of them they will lose and we will be left with no contenders but JDS/Cain.

They probably said that.

However both could make LHW if they wanted. However i dont think Cormier is capable otherwise he would have allready made atleast a start in my opinion. I dont think Cormiers kidneys allow him nor does he want it.

For Cain the cut will be easier plus he has to deal with 'softer' hitters.

Cormier has shown tremendous potential/no weakness at all and Cain will stand aside for his team mate (OR zuffa pays them half a mill each in order to start some fake WWE feud and fight each other).

I would say 5.....they already fought twice. A third is on the way and unless more heavyweights enter that division I see them two fighting for the title every other year until one of them retires.
