How Many Pushups Can You Do Nonstop?

How to double your pushups in a month.

In my mid-30s, 80 clean and proper. Which means I can do 110, sloppy at around 65 when I was rushing it to 100. Now at mid-40s, 40 is a nice number.

Proper push-ups with solid form? Probably 40-50 these days.

I'm not a manlet (fortunately) and have extremely long arms which doesn't help matters. I've trained with turbo manlets that can pump out push-ups like it's nobody's business.

I did 3 sets of 35 almost every night (not chest day) for +/-10 years.
I stopped working out after Covid but can still crank out 30 at any time.. and every single one Ive ever done was on the knuckles :)

Don't know. I do around 10 perfect pushups slowly every other day. It keeps me looking in shape.

Did 31 full form last night. Pretty good for 47 and out of gym for decade.

I also did 20 an hour later with my seven year old cross legged on my back. He's about 60 lbs. That one I'm feeling today lol

Last year when I started trying, I could only do around 20. Now I’m around 35/40

Still not great, but a decent percentage jump from then

40-50 with no pauses. Not slow, but not very fast, full range of motion, steady, no kipping. With a pause or two? 51-75. That's with being pretty lazy about doing them regularly and being in my 40s. When I do a set it's typically at least 34 which I feel but is quite comfortable and isn't near failure; maintenance.

Having dealt with shoulder, wrist and elbow injuries my count is not good, neither is the technique. Most recently I tore ligaments in my elbow and forearm about 3 years ago and then broke a bone in my wrist about 18 months back. So my best is 20 in one sitting, but I try and do them once an hour or so to make up the numbers. Maybe could push it more but it's me that lives with the pain so I don't bother
