Imagine if this card was 5 years ago when these guys were all prime. Jesus.
What? Card in brazil headlined by Werdrum. Sure...800-850K, great card.
Just the hardcore audience is less then 300K buys. Ask Mighty Mouse. But no draw to the US PPV market.
Hardcore will buy it, but what casual cares about Werdum?

It's a great card for die hard fans, but we only account for 150k buys. Hell, I'm not even buying it. Stream City.
Funny to think that 590k was an "OK" PPV number as recent as a few years ago.
Now PPV is top heavy.
Here are some more proof why this card will not hit 400k. Outside of Rousey or McGregor, these are the PPV buys since Werdum last fought:
06/13/2015 UFC 188 Velasquez vs Werdum 300,000
09/05/2015 UFC 191 Johnson vs Dodson II 115,000
10/03/2015 UFC 192 Cormier vs Gustafsson 250,000
01/02/2016 UFC 195 Lawler vs Condit 300,000
Paints a pretty sad picture for the UFC eh? No wonder Dana White loves McGregor and Rousey.
Guys, who on this card would cause a casual to buy it? Werdum, Stipe, Cyborg, Jacare? The UFC should have done Anderson vs Belfort 2. This card will do less then 400k buys.Around 500-600k
Could have done a bit more with Anderson on
If they went with
Werdum vs Overeem
and didn't give Stipe the shot, then it could have been around 700k
