Imagine if this card was 5 years ago when these guys were all prime. Jesus.

Remember when Cormier vs. Rumble and Weidman vs Vitor did 375,000? That was disappointing.

It's an amazing card.. But I do think it favours the purists rather than the casuals. So I say it does about 500,000

600-700k but I think I am a tad too optimistic.

somewhere between 350 and 450

It's a great card for die hard fans, but we only account for 150k buys. Hell, I'm not even buying it. Stream City.

Exactly.

Stipe is a complete no name to the casual fans. Werdum is barely known. For comparison, UFC 188: Velasquez vs. Werdum sold 300,000. Velasquez is sadly was probably the biggest HW draw outside of Brock Lesnar. Jacare is completely unknown, Vitor is slightly known. So yeah, almost no chance this hits 400k buys, should be lucky if it breaks 300k.

Again, we are talking buys, which has little to nothing to do with what hardcore fans like.

Edit:

Here are some more proof why this card will not hit 400k. Outside of Rousey or McGregor, these are the PPV buys since Werdum last fought:

06/13/2015 UFC 188 Velasquez vs Werdum 300,000
09/05/2015 UFC 191 Johnson vs Dodson II 115,000
10/03/2015 UFC 192 Cormier vs Gustafsson 250,000
01/02/2016 UFC 195 Lawler vs Condit 300,000

Paints a pretty sad picture for the UFC eh? No wonder Dana White loves McGregor and Rousey.

Funny to think that 590k was an "OK" PPV number as recent as a few years ago.
Now PPV is top heavy.

2014 waz dead.

With the exceion of Jonez/Cormier... 2015 isn't top heavy except for Ronda or McGregor cardz... so I wouldn't say "top heavy"... I'd say 2 heaviez on top~
: )

I got medium level casualz coming in. Cyborg helps. Just under 500,000.... but I'm skeptical & it might be just under 400,000... but that's historically pretty good to~

Around 500-600k

Could have done a bit more with Anderson on

If they went with

Werdum vs Overeem

and didn't give Stipe the shot, then it could have been around 700k

Do people in Brazil also pay for PPV or get it for free on TV? If they are paying then I say 400-500k, if not then 300k.

I went on what I thought to be the high side with 5-600K. I hope it actually surprises me and does better.

Low. The people picking anything above 600k have to be kidding themselves.

That is exactly why I said UFC PPV is top heavy these days!
The average might be good, but its mostly Conor/RR

Guys, who on this card would cause a casual to buy it? Werdum, Stipe, Cyborg, Jacare? The UFC should have done Anderson vs Belfort 2. This card will do less then 400k buys.
