How many ppl are rooting for a Conor “comeback”?

People saying they are indifferent or actively don't want to see it are the biggest edgelords.

I don't like the way Conor's career/behavior has unfolded, and he shouldn't be near any rankings. But as a fan, pretending a Conor comeback is actively worse than no Conor comeback is wild.

Typical forum neckbeards being edgy

Having a different opinion doesn't make you a weirdo.

Stating that Conor making a comeback isn't interesting makes you a weirdo.

That's not what you said the first time though. It's definitely interesting to follow and I'll watch the fight but that doesn't mean I'm rooting for him to win or become champ again.

Imagine if you weren't rooting for a (in some regards) GOAT of a sport to make a comeback (when not necessarily too much out of his prime).

That would make you a fucking weirdo.
GOAT in regards to his popularity. Imagine implying that you should be interested in a guy because he's popular, and then calling other people weirdos

I guess people have to like McGregor in your mind, some do and some don't. Both viewpoints are valid and it doesn't make anyone a weirdo to not be a fan of a particular sportsperson - it just means they don't like them for whatever reason.

Just watched a short Conor documentary on YT. Kind of got me nostalgic about Conor’s prime. Made me wonder if anyone’s rooting for him to come back and get a few wins. I know he’s very divisive but he’s definitely exciting.
Edit: comeback is in quotes because I didn’t necessarily mean a comeback to his prime. But just a win or 2.
I would happily rewind to UFC 189 when Conor beat Mendes. I was there and it was insane. He went on to beat Aldo and if I could set the table there would have been a fight with Frankie Edgar (should have been him not Mendes at UFC 189) and a rematch with Aldo and Max.

I get 100% why for his finances fighting Nate "A guy 3x his size WW" & for the title at LW and boxing is worth millions and millions for him but once the instant rematch with Nate happened it was all over.

I would love him to come back and see him humiliated for the 4th time in a row.

Pretty much everything that is bad about the UFC today is directly or indirectly because of Conor. Money fights, two-division champ status. Inactive fighters remaining high in the rankings, etc, etc..

I like seeing him getting beat up. Other than that I wish I never had to hear his name, or see his face again. He’s a massive lowlife. He’s paid off as many women as Vince. He’s a shit human being.

But if I have to see and hear that fucking clown. I hope he gets the shit kicked out of him.

I don’t know who that is. I will Google him and edit the response later.
Must be below MW, I guess.

Imagine wanting a total scumbag and worthless pisser of a human being to have success? That would make you a fucking weirdo and really, kind of a psychopath

The UFC is better off without his virus sideshow act. He seriously needs to go to the WWE and just let it play out there. The game moved past him and will be better without his dark cloud over them,

I can t believe people still say shit like that. UFC was way better in 2010-2015 than now and Conor contributed to turn the sport into a piss circus.
No it wasn’t. It was always a circus and now with merit based competition out and only thing that matters to U Fight Cheap being $$; I can say I want Conor back and have him fight frequently on card to help launch other fighters brands and give them exposure.

Hopefully with that exposure and new find hype they don’t turn into divas like dustin did.

Conor's kind of the tide that raises ships.
It gives the other men and women an opportunity to shine with more eyeballs on them.

I'm always a fan of that.

This makes little sense

I think the whole world is waiting for him to get back and getting embarassed worldwide <45>
