How many people on here believe what they love the most is as important as human life.

I know family members and some friends who think their animal or vehicle is as important to them as human life. That us as humans think children and other humans are just whatever. That its what your into and like.

I disagree and that was before I had a kid. I always thought human life was more important(not saying all humans are good but generally speaking) and that as much I loved animals they took a back seat.

Now I have a dog(love her) but to believe I'd put her over a child is not gonna happen.

What are your thoughts? Is human life and children put on too high of a pedestal?

Of course children, loved ones etc are above everything else, other humans who are not a threat right after.

Thats because of what the theory of evolution Selfish gene theory etc explains.

People who value animals or inanimate objects higher are just failed organisms trying to make up for said failings. They are pitiful.

That said, some of them are my best friends so it's not like I think my judgement should be held against them. It's rather that they need help or compassion for an incurable condition.
