How many of you live out of a RV or Sprinter Van?

I live on a boat. Like a floating RV. Sure AF ain't cheap though.
wana invite me over ?

Could you sail to Croatia ? Like south coast, I´m close to there. I´m pretty sure impossible lol what a question. Like you will sail the atlantic

In Germany I live out of an apartment and in Herzegovina out of a house. No rent. Apartment has a mortage.

I gotta scam @Yoricks Wisdom for 200 k than I can buy a nice new luxurious apartment in Herzegovina. Yorick remember you still owe me 50 k for that purp I fronted you ?

My old parents are in the house and my sibling is in the apartment.

Idealy one day I get married and buy a nice apartment or house in Herzegovian just for me.

Buying something good in Germany would be some 25 year high commitment bleeding paychecks into it if two people work. Germany is super expensive. If you live where the city is. If you wanna be in a village or small town and drive 1.5 hours to work you can buy something more easy.

As for living out of a trailor or van, my name is not Yellawolf or whoever whatever. Slumerican.

I mean Van is still better then Contempt sleeping under the bridge selling his ass.

Sleeping in a van is borderline homeless though. It is homeless. No roof. Or call it being free. {<shrug}
Toilet. But if you gotta survive and save up you do whatever. Like at work when people ask you bout your place you say hey it´s there in the parking lot. I mean if you got no other choice. Better then a cave. And better get to working, a lot, and saving a lot of your paycheck to get out. Rent anything you can afford.

I mean I'm agreeing with you that if you get sick and don't have bathroom capabilities, good Lord
oh right my bad lol. that would be a disaster. ngl shitting in a bag in bucket is disgusting, no two ways around it. Even the cartridges on rvs are gross. But the alternatives are basically homeless options and like why have a moving domicile if it can't accommodate regular bodily functions. But some people make it work, to each their own I guess.

don't get me wrong i'd have a planet fitness card and know where there are some local shitters too or at least portapotties if necessary.

Thinly veiled “how many of you are broke as fuck” thread
It´s not veiled. I think they guy used a burner and is somewhere in the comments. Telling his story. Hey applause for the bravery. So what, he´s broke. Could happen to the best of us. Well my parents built a house before I was born, they had me really late, and Croatian culture you never get thrown out of the house, so basicaly I could never ended up in a Van. But shit happens. Things don´t last forever. Tough times make tough people, easy times make easy people. Contempt is a hoe. Such are things. People who rob the world get killed and then cry racism. Yada yada brada verstehst du znas na sta mislim.

Former NFL cheerleader decided to live the Van life. Keep in mind she slept in her Prius with a dog for years. Became a successful youtuber. Lots of struggles along the way. But she has tons of adventures.

People usually say this is a gimmick. Rolleplaying homelessness as a social media career. That these people got wealthy parents. I don't know about her in particular.

There is homeless people in Germany too. Picking up bottles from the trash that you get 25 cent for when you return them. I had roomates for like 4 years till I got my own place on my name. Earned 2k working security, blow it, earn again. Took me forever to stop being foolish. But I always could return back home to Herzegovina. Ticket is 100 euros with the bus, 150 plane. Would feel like I didn't make it like a loser if I quit. Now sometimes I tell myself I'm a loser cause I'm 38 and didn't buy my own house. I mean makes no sense a house in Germany is half or 1 milion. Back home it's fine, we got a house. My dad grew up poor, without a dad. And was a good student. Worked and built a house. So I'm lucky. I'm too hard on myself. I ignore everyone who is poor and compare myself to the rich and wealthy.
Roommates is good to share a place. It makes you cultural. Serbian Bosnian roomates as a Croatian. Anti racism proof. Once I crashed my afghan friends place for 2 months. Creates brothers. Like my best friend in Germany, Albanian I was roomates with him for 6 months. So I know him "into his soul". Not room mates but in his apartment. 10 years later we're still best friends and now owes me 4k. I randomly gave him 50 euros yesterday for cigs cause there was a opporunity to buy a stack that is 90 for 50. He doesn't even gotta ask. Now he is bugging me to give him my west as a gift for his dad. It was 80 euros even though I don't wear it. When someone who isn't family becomes family. He's also invited by my mom to bring his kid and wife and stay with us some time for vacation. Im Herzegovina friends are like family it's a small community. They all drop by and we all know each others families. Eat together. Noone rings the bell. Just come into your house. You don't gotta lock your door at night. No homelessness. I just got to my neighbour without anouncement and smoke a cig with their mom and chat. Get offered food and coffe. People drive me to the airport and pick me up. 2-3 hour drives.
We are all workers. My mom dad brother. Parents are retired. I used to never work and just chill at home till I moved back to Germany.
We even inherited some land that might be worth maybe 70k recently. My dad but he's 82 so it's mine and my brothers. It's in a tourist area. Not sure if we do something with it. Also still got the land on my dads mountain where he was born. Also not much you can do with that. Unless you build something for tourists. That requires money. Brother wants to basically pay of this apartment. I just wanna live and train kickboxing. I like to not spend money. Why does it always have to be spent. As secuirty you won't save up much anyways. My next job is good though, security but paid within the chemistry "tarif". My brother earns pretty well. Accountant. We just took the cheapest apartment to buy that is inside the city, to be close to work. Basicallly he hates paying rent and calls it thrown away money. It's small but hey it's mine. And it's clean. My house home is big enough.

In my case I don't think I would. It would be better than being homeless. I need a home base.

I have to work on tools and figure out problems all day at work. I could have a fucking nightmare tonight about having to upkeep a van also.

I rented a motorhome for a week and it was fun but I wouldn't want to live in it permanently. I'm glad I have a house
