How Long Until Zabeast becomes Champ?

He needs to find a way to limit the fancy shit to conserve energy over the course of a fight or he'll never be champion. Holloway would tear him a new one form the 3rd round on in my opinion.

Gotta see how he holds up against the Top 10 of the division, few people in the Featherweight division have successfully ran through the who's who of the Featherweight division, and that's Jose Aldo, Frankie Edgar, and Max Holloway. And while his victory was impressive, he just beat Kyle Bochniak, the guys not even ranked.

If Zabit can rack up wins against top fighters like Lamas, Stephens, Cub, or Emmet, I'll give it to him that he can be champ, but it's looking like it's Blessed Era and T-Ctiy's time. And Frankie Edgar is real good at pumping breaks of up and coming prospects, hell he called out Yair, who Frankie put on the shelf for a while.

I'll be more cautious of Zabit's presence when he gets a ranked, but he has good Coaches in Mark Henry, and Ricardo Almeida, so he should do well, we'll see what happens.

Funny thing is, Zabit is really no better than Lando IMO, the only thing was he did not get immediately fed to the wolves and fought bums to build up his hype train. Don't get me wrong, he is better than DHC, but the fact he is not starching guys in a round could be a bad sign with this level of competition.

He’s too big for that division . He has a good skill set but he doesn’t seem to be a Ko artist , that weight cut will hurt him against someone who can stay in there and is diverse

nobody wants to fight him. he's the most ducked guy in the division.

i'm sure Max would fight him.

Max wanted to fight Khabib on 6 days notice, he's not gonna duck anyone if he's willing to do that.

he seems hitable, I feel like he's going to get cracked really hard one of these days and Sherdog will freak out

Everybody loses at some point.
He's 27, has tons of time to improve his already very good skills. That's what makes him future champ material.

Will be interesting to see how he bounces back from a loss, though.

Zabit is da beast. But i'm afraid if Ortega touch that neck it will be over.

Seems like he may not be able to get a big fight any time soon. Since he's not a big name but poses a big risk many guys won't fight him.

He should ask for Cerrone at 155. He would take the fight even if it isn't a good idea.
