How long does it take to turn into "permanent" weight loss?

TF, thank you for the reply. I believe you understood what I was asking.

To those who say "it's gone as soon as you use it" -- I can say that if I run for an hour, I will weigh 2-3+ lbs lighter than I did before I ran... and the next morning I won't necessarily be the same weight. My question was more along the lines of when that weight loss actually sticks.

This topic was little more than just me thinking out loud, wondering about something obscure and decided to make a post. Nothing more, nothing less. Thanks to those who helped.
